Probably better to swap out the pickup and add an active pickup, including routing go a J near the bridge.
The add a high mass bridge with the option of stringing through the body.
If you still don’t like the bass, change the pick guard to tort.

If they made it I'd buy it.That thing looks like it would be nice with a pickguard that matches the color of the headstock.... why isn't that a thing already.
