That made me laugh.
Yeah me too..it was probably someone from the mailroom answering calls while someone went to the bathroom.
My bad. I thought they said 'Nordstrand' on them upon a quick inspection.
But whoever said they were noiseless was right.
This is what the J looked like:

The P pickup also had 'Noiseless' written on it.

I don't think the p pickups said noiseless because they are by their nature "noiseless". The p pickup on mine does not say noiseless.

The P pickup is labeled noiseless too? Isn't that one of the defining facts of a split coil P bass pickup?
Looks good, but maybe a tad high on price for a MIM.
On another note, I so wish MF and GC would get with the times and provide websites more friendly to mobile. The MF site is all but useless on the Android browser and in chrome (jelly bean). I find it increasingly rare that I'm in front of a PC with free time on my hands these days.

I thought so too but if you compare it to other MIMs like the Duff, it doesnt look as bad.

Hey are you thinking about changing anything on yours yet? Pickguard, pickups? Anything?
Not sure..first gig with it is Saturday night so we will see how it sits in the mix. It needs a setup and some D'Addarios and I hope that tames some of that bite down. It def has some punch.
Ok cool well please report back. I'm between bands so I'd be interested to know how it sounds in the mix.
The same GC I went to before has a black one in now as well, and it's the best Fender I've ever played. Custom shop, American, vintage, whatever. It was excruciating to walk out there without it.
It's a keeper..still tweaking it to get it where I want it. This past saturday night I had to set up in front of a Hammond B3 so I was competing with a Leslie cabinet..kind of a small stage do I couldn't really hear myself that well..but overall it sounds good in the mix..
