They are nice basses, If I had some extra cash Id try one, but I have my sights set on a stingray first. It has eluded me my entire career....

if I was in the market for a jazz Id look hard at it. Seems they can be found used these days at pretty good prices.

enjoy my friend..

The price was good but the musicman would take first place for me, as well. The trouble is that in Vermont......nothing is close, so I go to the only good store in the area....but somewhat limited stock.

If im interested in a bass I will usually be able to find on to try out to see if it fits and works for me. Ive bought a lot on line with great results. and bigger music stores will let you return if it just doesnt work for you.

Only Wyoming, in the lower 48 has less population than Vermont. Hell, we still pay for basses with beaver pelts when we can.

I don't miss too much about living and working in the Boston area for years....except lots of music stores. I have had really good luck online with Sweetwater. So far.

Bad neck/bridge combo or other neck issues? Thanks for any info!
Look for the ol fender ski jump from the 15th -20th fret

I only have personal experience with four of these out of the thousands that have been produced but all four have had the ski jump to some degree.
In fact, the one I OWN has it too. It it just not as bad as the others I've seen.
I will probably have it looked at eventually before the warranty is up

I would think that population density would be a bigger factor here than total population as the latter doesn’t take geography into account. That said, Vermont still looks pretty sparse at 31 out of 50. Wyoming almost takes both prizes for least populated and least dense at 50 and 49 respectively, but Alaska just edges it out on density... or lack thereof.

Nitpicking concludes :p

Yes.....the land mass is much greater in Wyoming.... and obviously, in Alaska. Those were great charts you sent! Thanks.
