It's a bad picture, but that's my 2012 Fender Jazz FSR on the right. May I get a number?
My JB, from Argentina. Hipshot A + Hipshot HB7.

Congrats, these are great basses, especially when on sale! Sold mine some time ago due to spousal pressure and too many basses. Usual TB story. The buyer commented that he loved my medium-low setup. So I just ordered my FSR last night.
FYI on sale at guitar center til march 8th
I want to join the club!
so surprised how light it was compared to my squier vm 70s j bass
I do miss my maple neck
any tips for set up etc?
as far as bridge and pick up upgrades any recs?
Never modded it, really did not need a thing. So--setup yes, mods no. JMHO!So I just ordered my FSR last night.

Those are the "ground round" strings? I got a few sets of those used from somebody when I bought some other strings. HATED them! To each his own lol. Maybe I'll try em out again on a Jazz bass.Congrats, these are great basses, especially when on sale! Sold mine some time ago due to spousal pressure and too many basses. Usual TB story. P.S. Try GHS Pressurewound strings. They sound great on J basses and they're easy on frets and fingers.
Actually if anybody has the American FSR P in translucent blue I'd do a straight trade.Number, if you please.
Here's my wine red American Standard FSR. Got it for $700 CAD and spent $100 on a setup because the truss rod seemed tight. The tech also did a lot of fret work on his own time so it's in perfect playing condition. I told my buddy I'd sell it on to him for his brother for what it cost me (his request). He's like "are you sure it's worth that?". even has OHSC and case candy. Fool. I should just keep it lol.
Fender terminology is funny. Always inventing different terms for the same thing lol. My FSR was made in a run of 150. That makes it pretty limited eh? The only difference in these is the sandblasted treatment which looks amazing. Saw one of these into the local shop and was struck by the look. The blue colour really pops too.the sandblasted sapphire blue transparent p? it's not an fsr. it's a limited edition.
