the telecaster bridge cover is supoused to be 3" inner diameter in the narrow part and 4" inner in the wide part but I dont know how long is it. I think it dosent fit.

It would be grat if someone with a tele bridge cover can measure it so somebody can make a copy in paper board to se if it fits...

Something went wrong on my last post :hmm: - here are the rest:

I love mine put a fresh set of chromes on yesterday. If you would have asked about the LaBellas a few days ago I had a set I took off a bass I sold but they are now on a different bass. I imagine they would probably sound pretty good though they usually do on pretty much anything IMO.

Installed Chromes on my Cabronita and I really like the sound it puts out but I'm curious about how a set of Labella 760fl's would sound?? Any opinions? Also I've noticed that this thread has really slowed down. Nobody likes their "Cab" anymore? No one else buying them? Just wondering.

I bet that with all of the photoshop - people are thinking more of a Custom'Nita

I'm thinking of building a Boracchonita

I've always dreamed of building a '54 P-bass, but substituting the single coil with a guitar-sized humbucker, like TV Jones' ThunderTron, or Rio Grande's Pitbull. I'd REALLY like to mount a Tele bass humbucker there, but I'm not sure there is enough room. There would be a push/pull pot to tap the coils, of course.

I still have something like that in my mental pipeline, but if I decide to get lazy, I just might spring for this instead!

Time to start listening to ZZ Top's "Eliminator" album, I think...

I just bought a Cabronita PBass that should be here in a couple of days. I plan on using Chromes on it. I'm hoping it sounds as good as it looks. I also bought a Fender Tweed case for it.

I own one in 2 tone sunburst. I had a Squier VM TB bass with the big humbucker at the neck. The Cabronita reminds me of that tone except way cleaner. No mud at all. It's beefy and a little gritty. The neck is a bit bigger than my Squier CV 50 pbass but you get used to it pretty quickly. I love the slab body. It plays like a Pbass on steroids!!
