Mudbucker has a volume pot (currently 250k with an EB0-styled .01uf cap), no current tone (will wire a 500k resistor and .33uf pot) and an output.
Fidelitrons are wired like a Jazz, VVT (250k pots and a .47uf cap) to an ounput.

It's an awful mess in there, the extended wiring, extra pot, splices and electrical tape jammed into the 7/8 scale body (it's a 32")is a mess, and compacted. I'm gonna pickup a set of replacement CTS minipots in 500k and redo that so it's nice and clean.

It's too confusing for my brain to process, ill stick with my single coil

What pickguard is it? Is it a "Sting signature Bass" replacement PG? does it fit perfect? can you do more Photos of the Bass showing the fit of the PG?

Did any of you guys try tuning down to C? I read somewhere that the pickup has a volume drop below 125Hz...

I installed a DTuner on mine, plus, it happens to tune one half step down sometimes. That way I get an open low C#. As long as you get the correct string gauge it's gonna play fine.

Thanks. I haven't found any other information on drop tuning on these. I just pulled the trigger on a black one, so I'll be able to try it myself pretty soon!
