Fender La Cabronita Precision Bass

It looks like that odd experiment of basses called "La Cabronita" it's getting a mass produced item.
I don't really know if that's a good thing (I've never played a Custom Shop "Cabronita") but it has definitively gotten me curious about it.
I hope I can catch one at the Musikmesse this Saturday, and I'll post my impressions.
What do you think?

$599 MAP. I'm interested. Pickup is in the right spot wonder if it'll sound like my Paisley P or something completely different.

Where did you got that info? I've been looking for a price and could not find it anywhere.
That's like 450 on the streets, right?
I hope I get a better look this weekend and we'll talk euros too.
(usually they just change the $ for a €, what i find outrageous).

I love the bass, but I really wish they would just use the standard high mass bridge like is on the MIA stuff. That thing looks hideous, but not enough to chase me away.

Sign me up for a burst. Hopefully my local GC will get one that I can try out. I'm stuck between this and the new nitro Classic series Jazz.

I'm not fan of the bridge either, perhaps because I love bridge/pickup covers and the don't play well together. But this thing looks a lot like something Dusty Hill could play, so I'd love to give it a try :bassist:

CAR ... except the bridge ...

Reminds me of Dusty Hill, April 1980, Rockpalast, Germany ...

Why did they call it Precision?
With its non-contoured body it belongs to the Telecaster Bass family ...
The actual "Telecaster III" bass (with the two humbuckers) is less Telecaster than this beautiful "little bitch" (even if this is not the 100% correct translation of "La Cabronita").

I'm pretty sure if I get one that the bridge would be swapped for a regular bent plate version. The high mass bridge just looks "off" on this bass. I think that the high mass bridge they use on the MIA Standards would be as big as I'd go. The vintage style would just look better.
