I have a sweet spot for blue and pastel basses... my new Jazz will look quite like that, the only difference will be the maple fretboard with pearloid block inlays/binding.

Had one of these back in the 90's, looking at the before pics, it could have been mine!

I love these basses, they are still my top favorite Fender bass. What you have done with this one is nothing short of fantastic!

As another poster opined, maybe Fender will take note of what you've done here.

If Fender made these P-Lytes again in a 35" five string version, I would buy one today, and I need another bass like, well, I need another bass.....

I don't see how anybody could make money doing this without charging out the wazoo. It was a labor of love that made no financial sense.

It looks powder blue in the pictures but it's got a greenish hue that doesn't photograph well (at least by me). It's very deep and rich.
