Between 2003 and 2012, I bought a whole bunch of new Fenders. I don't even want to think about them all. At least I gained experience, I guess.

But I found a different bass that I knew was mine as soon as I held it--so I can't go against that.
But maybe in the 2020s?

My first Fender is a Precision Plus that I bought new in 1992, and then 28 years later in 2018 I bought an American Std Jazz bass.

In 1978 I walked into Mojo Music in Bellingham WA and traded my Gibson Ripper and a bit of cash for a new sunburst Precision. Hundreds of gigs and sessions later, I still have it and will still when they carry me out.
