Two 500 versions! I like it. I would have got a 500 1x15. But I don't know why ha ha. That big old 15 mmmmmI agree if your going to do any gigging out then definitely the 500 over the 200. Honestly not sure they made the 200 they should have just made 2 500 versions with a 15 or 2 10's with the same wattages. ...
Interesting that there are more & more members from other countries joining now ...... excellent, can only be better for "The Club" well doneFender Rumble Club Rocks!
Yes we do! Nearly 250 members; over 2,000 posts and very nearly 100,000 views! That's almost one tenth of one million!
Rumbles Rock, Baby!
And It's All YOUR Falut! You Bought Them, And Loved Them, And Played Them. Blame Fender if you will, but it's all our fault.![]()
Welcome to the Fender Rumble Club, its chris 96!Hi need a hand picking a cab, just got the rumble 200 head and I have two cab options both 15 inch speakers both around 80 pound second hand, I play rock punk and indie and the cabs are ashdown abm mini (without horn) or laney rb (with horn I believe)
You are member #243
I know you are going to love that head. As for the cabs, if you can A/B them together using your new Rumble 200 and your own bass I would just pick which ever one sounds best to you.Yep .... I agree, I've always been a 15 's man, although have used smaller & bigger!!Two 500 versions! I like it. I would have got a 500 1x15. But I don't know why ha ha. That big old 15 mmmmm
You always have the option of a Rumble 500 head and a pair of Rumble 115 cabinets. That would most definitely rock! Two 500 versions! I like it. I would have got a 500 1x15. But I don't know why ha ha. That big old 15 mmmmm

You're welcome Chris! That's funny becouse I was thinking the Laney would have been the better choice of the two. Is a matching Rumble 115 cab simply out of the question? Thanks linnincan't really try both (in different city's) but I'm gonna go ashdown I think because they seem to have the better reputation (its just not having a tweeter that's bothering me)
Tbh I have a very low budget (being in a local mostly unpaid originals band) so I could do with buying second hand for cheap. btw this seems the best place to ask, I'm a cab noob (combos in the past) and I don't get the sockets on the back of the amp. I got one cable free but do I need one for each socket to make like a circuit? You're welcome Chris! That's funny becouse I was thinking the Laney would have been the better choice of the two. +1! Agree that international participation is more important than some might think. Leo Fender built his reputation on designing and building professional quality instruments & amplifiers that the working man and woman could afford. Today's Rumble bass amps follow that same proud tradition as do Fender's wide range of electric bass guitars. It's quality you can count on plus excellent value for your money. Fender has worked hard to establish a world wide network of authorized dealers. Although Santa/Father Christmas often delivers gifts of Fenders each year they are not made by elves.Interesting that there are more & more members from other countries joining now ...... excellent, can only be better for "The Club" well done
Great question, Chris! You are going to need a speaker cable, and not an instrument cable. The speaker output jacks (sockets) of all Rumbles are 1/4". Your cabinet may or may not have 1/4" input jacks. If it does fine, just use a simple 1/4-to-1/4 speaker cable. If your cab is speakon only, then you will need a special 1/4"-to-speakon cable.Tbh I have a very low budget (being in a local mostly unpaid originals band) so I could do with buying second hand for cheap. btw this seems the best place to ask, I'm a cab noob (combos in the past) and I don't get the sockets on the back of the amp.
