Pretty excited, gonna be buying a Rumble 500 combo to join my Rumble 15 (it's an older one)
WOOT!
That's one very exciting leap of Fender Rumble Faith, Journey55 (member #182)!

We need to know more about your existing rig.Well... definitely my budget won't get me a 500, as it costs around $750 here in Peru. Im going to buy the 200 because as I told you I got a great deal and add a 15" extension box later... The 4x10 combo I'm using right now is rated 150 watts, so I think I'll be good with the 200... or not?
We need to know more about your existing rig.
A good 4x10 can easily move 3dB more air than a single 15 of equivalent efficiency.
200 watts is not 3dB louder than 150 watts. Not even close. More importantly, the Rumble 200 doesn't put out 200 watts by itself, only 140. In order to get full power, you have to add an 8 ohm extension cabinet.
Assuming that your existing rig is literally putting out 150 watts into the four tens, it might go noticeably louder and deeper than the Rumble 200.
This is a good start, but we still need more info. The fact that your church amp is only 150 watts, suggests that it's not professional quality, but that's about all it tells us at this point:...The Church combo is 150 watt into 4 Celestion 10" drivers... I use it with the volume knob at noon, and it can go deep and loud.
Question is, the Rumble 350 V2 combo will be more efficient on his own than the 200 V3?
DAMN!"Might be in tomorrow mate" they say. "Bollocks" I say.
Do they know if the new shipment has even arrived in Europe yet? Hmmmm...Thomann shows a date of Sept. 30th
... Invalid Link RemovedProbably not! I don't need it yet as two of the lads are on holiday and we're not rehearsing at the mo. But I still want it BAAAD! They said it could be tomorrow but they don't know I'm sure of it. FFS!DAMN!Do they know if the new shipment has even arrived in Europe yet? Hmmmm...Thomann shows a date of Sept. 30th

Just so there is no confusion, bdplaid is writting about the V3 Rumble 200 1x15 combo and not the V3 Rumble 15 combo.FWIW, before I bought my Rumble 500 head, I demoed it trough a Rumble V3 15. I thought the 15 was not as loud as the 2x10, but had the 15 mojo. A new Fender Jazz sounded really good through it. But I liked the 2x10s a lot better. My suggestion is to try it in a store and crank it up, and see if it works for you.

I had the 200 and returned it for 500 combo. 200 sounds good but from what im hearing the 500 sounds just that much better with more volume output and headroom.. when the 500 arrives will let you know fo sho.I am thinking about getting a Rumble 200 as my main bar gig rig. I am looking for light and great sounding. I love the tone, but is it enough for bar gigs? I've played all the big names, and never turn it above 3 - after lugging in heavy stuff. I want an easy bass playing life and this seems a good fit. Those of you who own them, what are your thoughts?
Bassplayer315 has a Rumble 200 combo for sale, and has just dropped his price to $275! I'm very temped to pounce on this myself. And he's also got a Rumble 100 up for sale too. http://www.talkbass.com/threads/rumble-v3-200-new.1101948/
