I use a Zoom B1on ($50 multi fx, drum machine and Looper, all in one) and it can make your Rumble 25 sound like a mini SVT if you want. So yes, I say it takes pedals well.

Sticker rumble! Is it like sticker tires on a car? All my rumbles came used.
It's not yet Tele Tuesday, but I just bought this beautiful Squier VM Telecaster Deluxe for about half its new price and it actually sounds pretty good through the Rumble (with OD on).
Wow, just found this forum and I'm digging it!! Lot's of great info, been out of the music game for a few years and decided to re-enter at 62 years old. Went looking for amps and was sold on the Rumble 200!! Here is the family, P J 200 and the 1x12.

Testimony that even the stickers are still holding up after all this time - not to mention the Rumble itself.

Thanks! I was a BIG GK user when I quit back in 2007 and to me, the Rumble stack I have now smokes the 700rb, 2-10 & 115 setup I had then. Don't think I'll get another Sansamp either!! The Rumble has the smooth sound that I like for Classic Rock, Country & Blues.
Our group "Freddy and the Hipbreakers" the house band at The Rio Bravo Senior Meal Center AKA "!Josphine's Cafe" gets to tie our equipment into some recycled amps and speakers. I'm looking forward to using my Rumble 40 as a DI into a Peavey 600e, mixer amp,, and playing into a pair of 15" crate speakers. It doesnt take much to excite a bunch of old guys. The county, a sponsor of the meal site has asked us for a wish list (mics, stands, cables, cores, another mixer). The recycle stuff stays with the center. We had a couple of singers ask about joining, we think a singer needs to provide their own mics, stands and cables. The BL has final say on volume and mix.
I've been through all the amp emulations, sansamp, etc on my Zoom B3 and I'm preferring none of them over the straight tones I can achieve from my Rumble 200 V3 - including the Sansamp - which for me is unprecedented.
Guess I'll religate my Zoom for strictly tuner and effects at this point.
That sounds like a cool gig!! Love the name of the group, sucks getting old, but heh, look at Keith Richards!!

I've come to the same conclusion. I also run a Zoom B3 into a Rumble 200 v3. I'm working on setting up the first 5-10 patches with combinations of effects I'll use the most. It's nice to have all those other effects in case I ever need them or just for fun. Let the Rumble do the amp work.

OK @Big Hoss, so from what I can hear there is no noise until a cable is plugged in, and it doesn't matter which, right? At any rate that is way too much noise. Didn't you buy a Rumble 40? Plug into that. Same noise?

Both are HOT as hayull.. and there's really not a heap of difference in tone, but the 74's is lighter and its neck is slimmer.
Must take one to rehearsal tonight to use with my 500C Rumble
