Here's hoping, but as of now I have tell people that have out of warranty Rumble stuff (including myself) that they're SOL.

That is bad. But, Fender does not make everything they sell. Many components that go into the Rumbles are made by other, independent companies. If Fender creates a vacuum big enough, others will step in. That does not, of course, include proprietary parts that they have protected (although a qualified tech could probably repair it).

The member who posted the problem with replacing a blown horn (tweeter) could purchase the one from Amazon and, if a positive match could not be verified, could take them both to a tech for his/her evaluation. If it wasn't a suitable replacement, it could be returned to Amazon for a refund and continue the search...either way it would be cheaper than buying a new amp.

Please correct me if I am over-simplifying this.

Wow. Quite a surprise to find that my year old 500c is obsolete by design because Fender refuses for whatever reason to support its products. Really intelligent business plan eh?

Rest assured Fender, if this is how you intend to do business going forward you're going to lose a LOT of what were previously happy and potentially loyal customers. If someone were to need repair on a few years old item and can't get it due to the idea "hey we'll just make 'em buy another new one" I'm pretty sure they're not buying the same brand again. It's called Customer Service.

Rumble #2 is on the way. I ordered it earlier today. I still have my older 25w that got me member #449, but it was time for a bit of an upgrade. I just jam alone at home, so the Rumble 40 is perfect for me. Funny, @Linnin tried talking me into buying one of these like 2 years ago and I told him I didn't need it. I guess I could've or should've bought it 2 years ago. LOL. Pics when it arrives.

Next it'll be the 100, then the 200, then the 500, then the 800, then extra cabinets. Sounds like you're hooked.

Just received the new Fender Combo Cover. Although it's not padded, it is very well made and, at Sweetwater's advance ordering, for $20 it isn't that bad.

Nice! I've been wanting to get a cover for mine. What is the fabric like? Does it seem pretty tough and resistant to tearing? And, is there any felt/soft liner? Thanks for posting.

The fabric is polyester (not vinyl). I believe it does have more strength than vinyl and I do not think it can be torn easily. It does not have any liner but, it is not abrasive. It's better than a dust cover but is not as good as a road warrior's hard case (nor does it cost and weigh as much).

It does not have a hard shell front to protect the speaker but, if you pack it carefully and carry it yourself, you can't beat the price. My .02 cents worth...

I have a few other Fender amp covers like the new Rumble covers and can vouch for their resilience. They offer very good protection despite the lack of padding and are quite rain resistant. A great bargain at the current price!

I pre-ordered covers for my Rumble 500c and 210 extension cab at the end of January but they haven't come in yet. It will probably be a few more weeks before they arrive in Canada.

I have Fender covers for a couple of my guitar amps and I've been happy with them. They were inexpensive and so far have proved to be durable.

I have the 500 combo with 210 extension cab. Without a doubt, that rig rocks at gigs. Plenty of power, never had a problem hearing myself or being heard. Never had to crank it, maybe a touch above Noon on the master. When I ran it through FOH, no issues and the sound guys always loved the amp. And the tone!
