I should think so. Though I did get a little nervous last year that they would update the line around NAMM time, and ordered a v3 210 cab, just to be on the safe side.Very cool additions I reckon!
I also hope they keep the non-modelling ones around...(I assume they would with how successful they are)
Rumbles are fantastic, easy to move, great looking/sounding gig tools imho.
I got rid of my two Ampeg B100R amps when I got my Rumbles. The B100R is the best amp Ampeg ever made, in my opinion. Way, way too heavy. The Rumble 200 will fill a room the same way, but it will sound like a Fender. I assume the 500 will also. Love my 200! So easy to carry. Less than half the weight of my old Ampegs, and louder, and I think is sounds better. The Fender has way more tonal versatility than the B100R, but the Rocket had its own cool tone.Fellas, I’m about to pull the trigger on 500c. I have an Ampeg B100r combo that is great, but HEAVY, and my back and elbow need some relief.
Question is will I be able to get similar tones with the Fender? I have a Fender TBP-1 that I gig with through an Ampeg 212av, or an Ampeg PF115 (2), so I’ve already been getting a Fender/Ampeg tone already.
I would love the 500c, and potentially the 210 cab, to become a new lightweight gig rig.
I use a HP/LP filter to clear up the boom, as I use 5ers a lot to gig.
Thanks.
Three questions for the experts:
1. The Rumble 500 doesn't have a DI out, it has a line out. What's the difference?
2. No speakons. I assume other than getting a speaking to 1/4" cord all is normal?
3. I assume it can be used without a cab if you are just going into the PA, correct?
Many thanks.

I am no expert, but I believe:
1) the XLR is post EQ and moderately impacted by the master volume - users report great results using it
2) afaik yesy
3) the head? Yes.
welcome Rumbler #881! Did you buy the 800 yet? If so, why not?If you did
tell us about it. And Rumble on!
I am a proud Rumble 500 owner, and I just had the pleasure of demoing a new Stage 800. Does anyone here have any gigging experience with this amp yet, or is it too new? Some of the effects were very digital-sounding, but overall, the amp sounds great.

Where did you get your hands on an 800, at GC?
No, my local music store, Guitar and Banjo Studio, has one in stock. It has some really cool sounds, and I'd like to experiment with it some more when I have more time. I was curious if anyone here has one yet, and if they've gigged with it. I wonder if I'll need a second cab? 800 watts alone should be plenty...
You know, the 800 is "just" 400 watts alone, right? But that can be puh-lenty for lots places.
Like your 500 is "just" 350 alone, if it's the combo. Is it? The combo? If not, what cab(s) do you use with it?
The 25 is a great amp. But possibly try out the Rumble 40 before you decide. It is a little more money, but has the same pre-amp as the 200 and 500. Plus has a 10 inch speaker, which works a little better with a 5'er. And has the DI out should you ever decide to do some small shows with it.Hi all. Looking for a home practice amp. Recently tried out a Rumble 25 and was very impressed. However, I didn't get a chance to try a 5 string through one...
Any suggestions for which Rumble to look at for use with an active 5? Strictly home use, possible very small jams, not for live use.
Thanks!
A high pass filter will keep the B string from farting out your speaker at low volume no matter which amp you purchase. The 25 is a great amp. But possibly try out the Rumble 40 before you decide.
