Fender Rumble Club

Funny, I called Fender a few weeks ago about the 210 covers and they couldn't say when they would be available. Oh well, good to know they do exist and I will be getting one soon. For $20 you can't beat 'em.
That's weird that Fender would say that because I placed my order at the end of January. It's hard to imagine that they would be available in Canada sooner than in the USA.

Regardless, the Fender covers look nice, especially with the Fender logo being done as stitchwork on the covers. Well worth the money.

Let's see. The amps come from China so maybe the covers arrive via the Bering Straits???

Go figure. They do look nice. Probably not the toughest cover out there, but then I don't abuse my gear.

I have/ had several Rumble v3s. All of them have had a noisy pot at one point or another. All I do is crank it up and down and it goes away until it comes back. It's curious, slightly annoying and mostly harmless. I would not seek service or return it. The probability of getting another v3 that exhibits the same thing is high in my experience.

I will pick up one of the new Fender covers for my 200 when they become available online. The price makes the difference for me because I'm just cheap. I just don't need a cover that costs twice as much even if they are better.
The cover for the 200 is the same as for the 500 and available now. At least they say they'll fit both. I think they made the cutout bigger to accommodate both handles, which are slightly different. They tell me I'm cheap too. I don't see it, but I'm not one to argue.

I got my 500 combo today! It sounds great and has been rattling my basement like a snare drum!

Yeah, I remember it the same way too. I'd twist the heck out of the volume knob, the crackling would go away, but return shortly thereafter. One thing I don't remember though was the static negatively affecting my sound during a performance.

Interestingly, my American-built GK MB108 does the same thing as I up the volume, especially if it's been sitting. While without being played. Goes away after s couple of turns too.

Not to be a jerk-off but I just got a Rumble 100 and it says made in Indonesia on the chassis.
Maybe they changed the country of manufacture?
Mine looks perfect and sounds great (for what it is!).

@iagtrplyr, @Scatabrain its my under standing pots acting up is standard fairly common, Dan erlywyne part of stew Mac has some procedures and recommendations. I found a DVD and a book the library on dans tools and procedures on evaluating guitars. It's not bad info to review. Guitar repair was the title.

Cool. Dan is awesome.
It is my understanding that these pots are sealed tight.

Yer gonna LOVE it. The biggest problem I had w/ mine was getting it outta the box. Nearly threw it into the ceiling:laugh:
Oh no problem with that! Thank you FedEx! It was supposed to arrive one day shipping. Three days later and it shows up in a box big enough for an Escalade! No packing material. Cosmetically it looks ok but we’ll no more when I plug it in tomorrow.C0F3A947-C789-4962-BD9B-6F5FA174BE6C.jpeg70B3C33B-191A-4056-8D4C-106385D08F54.jpegDA971075-F846-482D-9561-FEA1D0F2B2E1.jpeg
