Fender Rumble Club

@Giffro Yeah I live in melbourne. ive been to bass centre a few times its a one stop shop for bass gear, so cool!! and the staff are super good too, always have like the lowest prices you will find!

Nice to see fellow aussies here on TB, keep rumblin' guys! :bassist:

That Bass Centre in Melbourne has a bigger variety of Basses on display then any Music shop on Manhattan

I just saw that Fender Standard Precision Bass Limited Edition Ocean Turquoise on guitar center website. That looks great. How do you like it?

They are nice basses, really like the color and the maple neck. I think the pickups sound good, but the controls are a bit cheap. Will probably change out the controls and leave everything else stock.

Yesterday I placed an order for a Rumble Studio 40 on Reverb. In anticipation of its arrival tomorrow I decided to install the Fender Tone app on my smartphone. When I opened the app in Playstore it announced that none of my devices support the app. There also doesn't appear to be any software that runs on Windows. I thought this might be helpful to anyone thinking about buying this amp expecting to use the Tone app. After reading the manual online it looks like I can still do everything using the buttons and knobs on the amp but that's not ideal.

Just received my NOS Rumble v2 112 cab, :D

I need to try it out at rehearsal to give it the 5 star rating, it sounds great with the old BXR 112 cab.

My plan is to sell the GK and BXR cabs to get 2-115 Rumble cabs v3, as the 2-115s together really does sound so deep n awesome.
I was toying with the idea of 2-210 Rumble cabs, but after jammin' on the 2-115's, out the window went that idea.
I still would like to find another 112 Rumble cab for a mini stack, or a 2x8 v2 cab, should work just fine for my needs...:smug:

I had the same problem, and needed to upgrade. The price of doing so was completely unaffordable to me. After Sprint got into an evil snit, I now have no phone at all.

The worst part is that I have a rooted tablet that is at a supported Android version. It won't install there either. I opened a ticket with support. Sitting on the edge of my seat now waiting to hear I'm SOL.

Well my first gig with the 500 combo, wow! Sounded great! For 350W, this sucker is loud. Had the master at 12:00 and the gain maybe around 9:00. It handled my Fodera with ease. My gig tonight, my Roscoe 5 string. Then the big test on Saturday, with my EUB. So hopefully this amp holds up well to my gig schedule.

Hold up? Your grandson will be gigging that amp.

So interesting development here.
I started doing pedals a year ago or so, more as an experiment than anything else. So I bought the Joyo line and nearly all have pooped out / were pooping out. Went back last night to just a dry signal into my Fender Rumble 200C and … I honestly prefer the sound! I played bass without pedals for years, if I need some extra fur the onboard overdrive will do for my needs … cover tunes where it's called for mainly.

Also, for the upcoming gig, I'm planning to position my 2 15"s on opposite sides of the stage … the combo near me and the extension cab near the two guitars on the other side of the drums. Hadn't really considered separating them like a set of Lesleys, but the lead guitarist suggested it.
This does space things out, I could have the horn on for one, say near the guitars, and off, near me and the drummer. Nice horns, but they do indeed hiss.

That will not sound as well as the two stacked up and perfectly aligned. This way, you will get the benefit of cabinet coupling.

Hi gravedigger I've just seen your message #931 I have a v3rumble 500 and a 4x10 cab I use a Marcus miller jazz bass and a ibanez sr 1400 I'm new to bass seen only been playing 9 months but getting plenty off coaching

Since you're still new to bass you should read about gain structure and tone tips on the Fender Rumble Club Wiki page. Lots of other useful information there, too.

HEY RUMBLE STUDIO LOVERS!! In anticipation of tomorrows arrival of my Studio 40, which factory presets do you absolutely love, which ones have you changed, and which ones should I absolutely download to the amp? What are your favorites??
comes with 100. I have tweaked a few. My faves are: #01 Basic Bassman CLN (Super Bassman); 07 Rumble V3 Vintage, 11 TV Bassman Clean, 12 TV Dub 18, 13 Basic Showman, 21 Fat Bassman (Bassman 300) Yes, it's mocking me, 22 Bassman Clean (Bassman 300), 26 Redhead 4x10, 33 Mowtown (rockin' peg). Not a fan of the British amps, but I haven't really sat down seriously with them yet. There are some highly effected patches that are fun; 60 Audiorage, and 80 Yeah Buddy!
