Fender Rumble Club

There was a Blonde Rumble at the Bass Centre in Melbourne about 3 weeks ago
Loll yep Bazza I saw it..pity I bought my black covered 500C and 115 cab from them about Oct 2017..its a great rig and pleasantly lightweight compared to my 30 year gigging rig..a Peavey MKIV and 1820 112lb cab..talk about going from one extreme to the next loll

Lots of good discussion here:

Are the Rumble Stage 800 & Studio 40 the Version 4 (V4) of Rumbles?

I love how even the split is on the voting. Would be interesting to see how a large group of people would vote. . . .

I voted Yes. Technology increased from V1 to V2 to V3. Its the very reason for the V=Version. This is also a new technology Version Rumble so it should also be reflected in its new technology Version name. Fender Rumble V4. . . . .

Some of you CARROTS need to change your vote one way or the other lolll

900+ Official Rumble Club members and less than 30 votes from TB in total on this important Rumble topic? Come on. We can do better than that!

Please, Rumblers, VOTE!

. . . . . .
Well, it's my (mis?)understanding that the whole V1, V2, V3 designations was invented right here at TB, and Fender doesn't even use it. That, it's just for TB use after all!
. . . . . .

That was true until Fender brought out these new Stage & Studio Rumbles. Some of the factory presets include V2 and V3 Rumble designations. Dead ringers too. Once again I am flattered to be the trend setter.

Recognition and props to our own favorite Rumbler, @Linnin, for his invention of the useful V1, V2, V3 designations several years ago right here on this very TB forum thread! And, now even Fender recognizes them in the new modeling settings!! So, who thinks Fender doesn't listen to us here? That's another reason why this is an important vote.

Yeah, sure, it's V1 of the modeling Rumbles, so MV1 seems OK, assuming there will be an MV2 and a V4 of the non-modeling Rumbles. (Nevermind the Bronco 40 being the real V1 bass modeling amp. No, wait, the B-DEC came before that!.). But it's too easy to confuse MV1 and V1 in these text discussions, where typos abound. Why not keep it simple? The Stage & Studio are obviously light-years more advanced than the V3s of the last 4 years, should they be V7?, V9?, V10? KISS, V4 for the Stage & Studio.

Wow! Thanks for the link. I love a prebuilt wiring harness. I'm not so hot at the solder gun... yet. ;)
Woah! Don't use a soldering gun. You need a variable temperature soldering iron for electronics. Guns are too hot. Better yet have competent technician do it. Since your bass is a Squier, that harness might not fit without some modification to the body of the bass. I think Squiers use mini-pots with smaller shafts and push on knobs.

Sorry about the nomenclature confusion. I meant iron. I may try something like that on my Bronco project I have going on right now. (stripping paint sucks) for the Squier, I think I'll just have the tech at GC replace the pups. I've seen him work. He's competent.

Well, I am glad your still here to say "Hi" to. Was back home a while back to VA Beach to set in with some friends - good to be back at the coast. Yes the 200 seems a rocker and my second P is the new "Fender Standard Precision Bass Limited Edition Ocean Turquoise". Will get some pics up later.

Oh yeah - how ya like that Studio.

Keep well my friend.

I just saw that Fender Standard Precision Bass Limited Edition Ocean Turquoise on guitar center website. That looks great. How do you like it?

Ok, so I posted I bought two. A Rumble 25 and 500. But didn’t post the required pics! So here’s the 500 at my first gig with it.
