Fender Rumble Club

I'm not about to run out and sell my PJB combos in favor of Fender stuff, but if I showed up to a show on the road and found one of these as the provided backline, I wouldn't complain a bit and would know that I'd already made many a joyful noise through these amps. I recommend them to students on a budget all the time.

PJB makes some fine gear, no doubt about that. I use both the headphones and the Bighead headphone amp for silent practice. As with anything else, it’s a question what best fills your criteria, be they tone, weight, power or price. The Rumble series happens to fill my criteria very well indeed, but YMM, as always, V. :)

This is an extremely pertinent point well made. I've seen this also on other sites. Many bass clubs on facebook. Fender Rumbles are very popular. What bass amp should I buy? Fender Rumble is the overwhelming answer. I just bought a Fender Rumble! In comes an avalanche of accolades. It is life as it should be lived. Fender Rumble makes your life better.

Congratulations, @Michael B (FKA: Scatabrain)! Do you still have your Rumble 200 combo, too, that you originally joined the club with?

I just got a 500.
I have a Rumble 200 combo and set it on the Rumble 115.
Sounds perfect.
I'm confused about the 500 though.
I set it on a Rumble 410 and 115.
It doesn't sound any louder or better then the 200 combo and 115.
Am I doing something wrong??
Not sure I'm keeping the 500 if it's not a great improvement.

No, that's right. You're not doing anything wrong. The Fender Rumble 200 is far better than many will admit. But I will. ;)
