I’d also like to directly compare those cabs to the rumble cabs while using a Rumble 500 head. I did see the Aggie vs Rumble 112 video and much preferred the Rumble, however, even Aguilar fans don’t seem to like that particular cab and said the DB would’ve been a better shootout.Let us know when you do...
So far I’m liking the voicing much more on my V3 than on my V2. Tone is subjective, but to my ears the V3 is far superior. I’d actually really like to hear the rumble 500 head with some top shelf cabinets like Berg, Mesa, or Aguilar.
x2 210's.....a 77 "white" Jazz, with really old barts and well broken in nickel Super Brights. It looks like a Rumble 500 head with a couple 410's.
Am I right?
I LOVE the Eden 210XLT ! Great cab, and I never thought it was heavy until all this new light weight gear took over.Maybe not a Top Shelf cab, but the Rumble 500 head did sound REALLY good with my Eden 210XLT cab. (2010 USA Cab) I only got the 2nd Rumble 210 for the aesthetics of them matching.Plus the Rumble can is about 20 something lbs less than the Eden cab.

Man did he get ripped off. Spent a lotta $ on that bass and they forgot to put frets on it.Oh Man... I just remembered! Summer of 2017 I saw Peter Frampton on tour, opening for Steve Miller.
Peter's bass man was playing a Rumble 500 into what looked to be a Rumble 410...
Who knows what it sounded like for real, 'cause the audience hears 'something', through the FOH sound system,
but Peter was rockin' to it on stage.

Great pics! Yeah, sure looks to be a Rumble head. Wish we could get a better view of the cab. Could be a Bassman 410 Neo. I wish I would’ve bought that rather than the Rumble 410 cab. Although I love my Rumble cab so far.

sigh.... removed the front grille from a new-used v2 R150 - still have 2 notes causing lots of loud rattles and vibration noise. sounds like rattling the amp itself maybe - looking for opinions. should I tighten everything down and see what I can do, or cut bait and look for something else?
basically, is this common with most used gear and fixable?

I'm looking for information on compressors and Pre Amps to see if the Rumble bunch use them. I have a v3 500 with a separate 210 cab. I'm thinking of getting a semi acoustic 5 string frettless bass. I'm looking for mwah. Currently playing an old P and a Squire Jazz.Wow! Still working your way through all the Club's postings, Old P Bass Guy? Well, keep up the good work. Just 88 more pages to go. It'll be worth it. Lots of good stuff here.

I have a separate amp head. I still have the 100. You are a help in that I may find out the extra gear may not be necessary. Back in the day I just had a Baseman 40 watt head and two cabinets with 2x15 each. Peddles and special effects had not arrived yet except for fuzz, wha wha, and reverb. Just trying to get myself up to speed on the technology. I should use the name Rip Van Winkle.....Just curious, Guy, but is your v3 500 the head or the combo? Last I saw you had a 100. What happened to that?
Sorry, I can't help you with external compressors or pre-amps since I don't use 'em.
