Fender Rumble Club

That's a big 10-4, Dav! Hence the impedance switch I just shared. A tremendous, though often overlooked, feature of the Fender Rumble Stage 800 amp.
I hate to hear that. The GAS pressure is starting to build. I tried out a Stage 800 a couple of weeks ago. That thing was great.
800 watts though 6x10 =

For clarification's sake, one of those "3 210 cabs" is the Rumble Stage 800 combo, itself! Yes, the Stage can take either an 8-ohm, or a 4-ohm external load to get the full 800 watts. Just set the impedance switch to the appropriate external load:

Got it. So all he needs to do is set the switch to 4 ohms and he can do it.

is there a difference with tone and sound quality of the rumble cabs and the bassman cabs. It will either be a rumble 210 or a bassman 115 to go with my rumble 500 head. Can anyone help me out here please?

I have a Rumble 210 in my 500 combo, and a Bassman 115 neo that I have used only a few times as an extension to the Rumble (though more often with my Bassman 500 head). There is the obvious difference of driver sizes and Rumble's ferrite magnets versus Bassman's neo magnet, which some people claim to hear differences between.

But, I tend to hear the similarities much more! The 210 and 115 have approximately similar driver surface areas, thus approximately similar SPLs. And having been developed by the same design team, the cabinets probably share many design parameters, if not actual dimensions. And, finally, to my ears when the two share the same signal, they produce approximately similar tones. That is, I can't tell any sonic difference.

But, I'm with SoulReflection in wondering why you're not considering the Rumble 115?

OutSTANDING, @Flacco! Have you tried both 210s with the Rumble Stage 800 yet? That 610 800-watt modeling rig is one of my dreams!! Perhaps at your big show?

AND you've got the newest Blk/Blk 210 cabs with matching grille and hardware to the 800. That's really top shelf!

Thanks G-Dog! I think I will try the 610 config. Ill make sure to get pics and report back to y'all! Again, thanks for the advice and I'm glad to be part of the club!

I'm guessing the availability of one v. the other.

I think you're on to something there! The Rumbles are all about not gigging with heavy, bulky head + cabs! I've never used in ear monitors, so can't help you with that part. But, if you have, I'd say, go for it!

However, I have been considering getting the Rumble Studio 40 and sending FX Send(s) to one or two more powerful amp(s)'s FX Return(s). Actually, that would probably just be temporary, since it's just way more complicated than simply getting the Rumble Stage 800.

I have a studio 40 that I connect with a V3 40 for big gigs. I run out from the v3 to the house. I have not used in-ears with this setup but.... I see no issue with this at all. I only had one outside gig where we had to put just a little into the monitors.... Otherwise, stage volume for me has come straight from the amps.

Yes, I love that combination. Modular and so flexible. Very easy load in & load out, right? Say, did you ever get in touch with @Killed_by_Death about swapping a black grille for a silver grille? Maybe even corner hardware, if y'all are that keen.

?? You don't run the Studio out to the FOH? Do you not use any stereo effects or settings? I would kill to do that!

At this time I do not run any of the stereo effects... I would love to..... but with my setup I EQ v3 almost as a sub so more of the low end..... With running out of the v3 to the house I get the studio setting that I set plus the EQ that I want from the v3.

I have to admit that I haven't read the whole thread, but I have done searches for all of the relevant keywords, promise!

With that being said, how is everyone finding the Stage 800? I'm looking to downsize from a Helix and Barefaced FR800 rig. I know it won't have the same maximum volume, but does it have enough volume? Standard rock band, two guitars, mostly PA support, occasionally without.

Are people generally happy with theirs, sounding good? @tombowlus, are you still impressed?
