Fender Rumble Club

OK, slightly off topic. Rumble 800 head. Starting to like this thing more and more. Very nice. Ears hurt, need a bigger room:laugh:
The j-bass sounds incredible through it, hell so does every bass I have. I can't remember the strings I bought for the MusicMaster but they have a piano type tone. Hell of an amp. I think I'll keep the 500 hd, just in case.:roflmao:

Sure, but why would the drivers be much different? Both ported cabinets right? And they do come in 4, 8 and 16 ohms.

And like I said, send Eminence a note and they're happy to reply.

I think the drivers in the 500 combo are different from the ones in the 4x10", just based on Impedance.
The two in the combo equal 8 Ohms total. What is the total Impedance of the 4x10"?
If it's 4 Ohms, then they're likely the same drivers.
The Rumble 410 has a total impedance of 8 ohms.
Each speaker of my 500C has an impedance of 16 ohms, I don't know about the 410.

The Eminence Delta 10B has an impedance of 16 ohms and the Delta 10A 8 ohms (and slightly other different specifications as well).

2 10Bs wired in parallel in the 2x10 combo/cabinet would give a total impedance of 8 ohms.
4 10A's wired in series/parallel in the 4x10 cabinet (2 pairs of speakers wired in serial and those pairs wired in parallel) as well:

Oh come, put them in and let us know!
You may get your wish, sounds like my freebie replacement driver from Fender is starting to go. Never drove it hard or anything, buty the Tech from Fender did tell me he pulled it from a dead unit on his bench and sent it to me free. So I don't know it's history before I got it.

I have 2 of the 210 cabs. So my older cab may get the new drivers soon and I can A/B them and run them together to see how it sounds. 2nd cab could very well end up with the new Delta's too. Then no fear of using that new 800 head with these cabs then, lol

Amazing how the Rumbles are so light and sound so darn good. Have a Rumble 40 for practice. Will be checking out the Rumble 200 for indoor/outdoor venues. Not only does it sound great, I can pick it up myself.:)

yeah, the light weightness of them is practically supernatural. the rumble 40 is so light that i can drag it around, and ditto the 100. i went for the 40 because i don't play anywhere right now but my livingroom, and i'm quite happy with it.
