Aw shucks, word got around I guess. I was surprised when my SW rep said OK, didn't even say he had to run it by the 'manager'. I'd still try to negotiate because it's worth it.

Hey can anyone help me, I just bought an old Rumble 150 head. So it is rated at 160 at 4, what is the rating at 8 - can not find it.
Playing thru a OLD peavey 1x15 with a Kappalite in her tuned the cab to the speaker and the little rumble rocks.
Just wondering the output at 8.

To be safe you should assume it can put out 75 Watts at 8 Ohms, but I'm not sure where you could find the original specs.
Thanks @LennyJ! The 8 ohm rating is listed on the schematic. I thought I had one, but can't find it. I'm pretty sure it's rated at 88 watts clean continuous at 100 Hz.

My previous practice amp sounded good but was heavy. Used an Acoustic Amp on gigs, the head was heavy and speaker cabinet was bulky. Thrilled the Rumble sounds so good and light. Need a bigger amp for rehearsals the room we rehearse in is sorta small. With the drummer(who wears ear plugs)and guitar player sometimes two guitar players it’s hard to hear myself. Maybe we should turn it down
Played a used 1x15 cab today with a 500 head at Guitar Center and with the master and gain halfway up and all EQ at noon, there was a noticeable crackle sound every time I hit the E string, almost like a blown speaker. I had thought about getting the 1x15 to go with my Rumble 500 combo but this is a bit worrisome. How easy is it to ruin these speakers?
You’ve got to be aware that that’s a 500 watt head going into a single 15. I have my gain at 9 o’ clock and the master at noon with no issues. It would handle small to medium sized clubs without a problem. If you need more, get the Rumble 410. I have that also and it pushes mucho air with the 500 head. I can add the 15 with it and do pretty much any gig I want. I think you were pushing the 15 too much with the gain that high.

Hard to say. Was it farting out? Those settings are pushing that single 15 pretty hard. My gain is usually around 9 and master is at 12 during practice going into the 2 10s in the combo. I also have the 1x15 cab to go with it and it’s usually the two tens that start farting out if I push it at similar settings to what you had.
Wow ok. It wasn’t even that loud, it wasn’t much louder than other people jamming around me and I was sitting a few feet away from it. Shouldn’t 350 watts be louder than that without the speaker crackling? Gain at 9 oclock and master at noon doesn’t seem anywhere near loud enough for a live band setting with a single 15. gain and master at noon was my let me test this amp and cab out at guitar center setting haha. Maybe the previous owner blew it or is this normal behavior?
