Fender Rumble Club

Does anyone have an idea of what MSRP or guesstimated street price of the 2015 Rumble 112s go for? I am partial to the "mini-rig of doom" camp. Barring jumping on the 115's, even a ballpark figure will help out. My 350 head is still lonely.

I'm guessing you've never owned a music store, or worked the back office aspect of a retail outlet.

Access to stock when you need it, preferential deals for larger chains, direct-to-the-public sales by the manufacturer, sales boundaries, etc. are a BIG deal in that environment. This is the sort of stuff that causes major stress and unpleasantness in business. When mishandled, it can put a store out of business in next to no time.

It looks like this might be an experiment confined to the states, BTW. When I click on the Buy Now link from the Fender Canada site, it just pops up the dealer finder.
Always with the negative waves, Rolfeca, always with the negative waves. Since there is nothing so certain as change, one can either adapt pro-actively and thrive, or react negatively and hope to survive. One thing Fender has always done from day one is to create it's own success. Fender operates totally in a thrival mode with changes large and small afoot with more to come. Just like any artist, one must invent oneself, and then move forward to create one's future.

Just been having a play with my 500 head into a sealed cab, flats on a p bass. I found lovely tubish overdrive, knock the gain and the drive back to almost nothing, then push the overdrive volume up to max to compensate, you'll get a great floppy compressed breakup. It's really useful having the four stages of gain when the overdrive circuit is activated. I've had several micro heads which have featured tubes in the preamp and none of them have come near to the Rumble for vintage tones, so far I love this amp.

Well, a sad end to my experience. The store I ordered my rumble 200 combo through is getting me a full refund, but they don't have any more at that price(I think it was a display model). Since I don't have the extra scratch to buy a full price one, and want at least 200 watts, I will probably be going with something from craigslist or a carvin mb15.

All is not lost! Call Sweetwater or Musician's Friend and see what they can do for you.
Also, let me just add that your store isn't treating you right at all. You have a full 5 year warranty. They should simply exchange your Rumble 200 for one brand new in box, and then they would in turn return it to Fender for credit. Simple as that. I would get in the store manager's face about it and demand satisfaction. Fender stands behind it's products 100%, and that store would not loose so much as a single penny. As it stands now they are losing a sale, and still have to make a return. Are they also losing a customer too? Would you ever shop there again after such shoddy treatment?

Sure thing! $299.99 MAP Order direct from Fender if you'd like. Invalid Link Removed

Thanks, Linnin. I had a feeling that ~300 bonez would be the MAP for that particular cab. I tell ya what, ladies and gents of this club: I'm gonna sit back and wait a bit whilst monitoring the online and B&M stores and see if the furor dies down a bit. Ordering direct from Fender seems tempting, but price-wise: Oh, hell-to-the-no!

Ok so I should be posting this in mini rigs of doom....

Love my Fender Rumble 500 combo amp. Together with a folding amp stand to angle it up it hard to beat! I gig every weekend and it works of every venue. We have PA support so its basically for me and the band to hear. The other night the singer came over to me and said : it sound so full tonight it was awesome!” Heres the stand I use. Folds up nice and flat easy to carry.
