Fender Rumble Club

Rumble 500 with the Fender 810 Neo. Unfortunately I do not have any sound clips but I have this pic of the cabinet.

To paraphrase Waynes World...

Schwing!!!

Actually for an 810, that's not that bad. Of course my lower back is flipping my head all sorts of obscene gestures just thinking about moving something like that...

It's easier to move around than you think. I pushed one all around the the store, and it was surprisingly light. You're never actually lifting it, either, unless you have to get it up and down stairs...even then you have help, and the handles are well placed for this kind of thing. Most of the time you are pushing it to an edge (back of a car or stage) and tilting. One of the main reasons I've been wanting a Neo 610 is the ease of moving it around vs dead lifting smaller cabs.

FINALLY got a delivery date for my cab... Looks like Wednesday it is for my cab and I to be in the same place at the same time... Woo Hoo!

I got updated tracking on both my amp and cab. They are both supposed to be here Wednesday, too.

I'll have to go pick them up on the way home from work tomorrow evening.

My rumble 500 showed up today! Was going back and forth between this and the GK mb212 ii. Went with this and I man am I digging it! Maybe not quite as bright as I'm used to but it gets close enough with the bright button engaged. I've never really dug Fender amps but this one changed my mind. Thinking about adding a 4-10 or maybe the 15 cabinet down the road. But it's plenty loud the way it is...according to the wife! :)

I have the 410 Neo cab right now and really leaning towards getting the Rumble 500 head..... Or should I buy the combo 500 and add it on top of the 410 Neo???? Ahrrrgghhhh, dilemma!!!!

That's a good question. If you get the 500 head, bear in mind that you will be running that 410 neo cab at 350 watts, since it is an 8 ohm cab, unless you get another 8 ohm cab in there.

If you were to get the 500 combo, you can run the full 500 watts with the 410 neo as an extension cabinet, and you will have the two 10" speakers from the combo.

In most circumstances, 350 watts should be more than enough, unless you are playing with two loud guitarists and king kong on drums. In my last band, I used a 300 watt GK Backline 600 and even with two guitarists and a heavy handed drummer I didn't even come close to full power with that amp.

Welcome to the Fender Rumble Club, bassyogi! :woot: You are member #352 :hyper:
I'm glad you're happy with your new Rumble 500. Everyone here has been going gaga over the new Rumble 210 extension speaker cab which is an exact match for your combo.

:D Rumbles Rule! :roflmao:

FWIW, I opted to go with the 500 combo with 210 cab in order to get the speakers up closer to my head, without sacrificing any coupling effect of having a cab on or at least close to the floor... Yes it will push the full 500w if I wanted but honestly, that's just headroom at that point... Lots, and lots of headroom...
