Will do, I live in a fairly small city/town and the only "authorized dealer", I think they said they repair, stated "Well its time to buy another one.." lol even after I mentioned that there wasn't ANY abuse, its literally sat in my living room for 5.0024 years..i think I bought it in May. I dont think that's a good sales tactic honestly. The speaker sounds great running all these tubes through it, but could use a passive filter in the box, which i may wire in soon. I have bought some cleaner and it should be in today. Ideally I wish it were back to a combo, much easier to just flick on and go for practice

It depends on how loud those 2 guitars and drummer are, and what kind of music you're playing. I think you'll be "heard", as my Rumble 500 combo can carry a lot of rooms, but if you're rockin some heavy stuff then I think you'll have a tough time. Don't worry about your TC head, it will push the cab just fine....adding another 8 ohm cab would be my choice. Try the single cab and see. If you playing blues and classic rock stuff , you should be fine...If youre playing Sabbath, add another Rumble 210 cab for sure!
Also, be sure to get it up off the floor and/or angle it up towards your head as much as possible.

Hi guys, I have a TC electronic BQ500 500w 4ohm, based on some threads I've read, it's not the actual wattage and probably less than that.

I'm planning on getting a 210 v3 300w 8ohm cab, do you think the head and cab combo can be heard in a band setting, knowing all the wattage and impedance difference?

it's will be me on bass, 2 guitars, 1 vocals and a drummer in a garage setting.

I do like it, it's set up like this gain/bass/lowmid/highmid/treble at 12/10/2pm/3pm/12 because the rooms acoustics make it boomy otherwise.

My bday is coming up so I got myself a compressor and some other useful things on the way.

I like it and it does what I needed it to do

thanks, the 210 would be my first bass cab, I've had the TC head for some time now without knowing/reading the specs and info about matching head and cabs. My band play some classic rock, nothing heavy, almost bluesy.

You should be fine then, but keep an eye out for a used Rumble 210 or 15" cab...youre gonna end up wanting one!
After I got my 500 Combo, it wasnt long before I wanted MORE..LOL...so I found a used Rumble 210 cab to add to it.
I just saw a guy on my local Facebook classifieds selling a like new 15" Rumble cab for $150...I had to buy it too

There is another thread bagging the 100 and calling its sound “boxy”. I like the way you have made adjustments to the settings to make allowances for the acoustics of the room rather then just blame the 100.

My 210 is on the way, I'm eyeing on a rumble 115, do you think another 210 is better than adding 115? I'm probably sure BQ500 can power those stack.

I have learned to EQ to the room, not the amp or bass or whatever. Different rooms have different acoustics!

Kinda gonna depend on what 'your' sound is. It's nice that the Rumble family of amps/cabs give you those choices.
1) 500W through 4x10
2) 500W thru 2x10/1x15
3)375W[x2=700W]through 4x10 and a backup
Choices. I'm currently doing an open mic/jam through 2 R100's[provided by the BL]daisy chained(1 is aimed at the drummer but is heard out front also)
My own rig-when needed-is a R200c/R112 cab. 200W thru 1x15/1x12.

Congrats on the Rumble 500! I absolutely adore mine and haven’t found the need for an extension cab yet as it honestly has plenty of power on its own even when I’m playing with my loud guitarists and caveman drummer! But lots of people love the 115 cab with it, it’s definitely what I would do if I were to get one.

Yes, the matching 210 cab makes a very cool looking & powerful mini tower. You may not need the full 500 watts, but it still gives a more full sound at low volumes, too. See the pix in the Extension Speaker Cabs section of the Rumble Club Wiki page, linked in my signature.

Yes, the semi-matching 115 cab is quite capable and, some say, adds a bit fuller tone than the 210. But it is a bit wider than the R500c and the 210 cab, which annoys the visual OCD of some people. Again, see the pix in the Extension Speaker Cabs section of the Rumble Club Wiki page.

Yes, a totally matching and equally powerful R500c chained via Send/Return to your current R500c makes for a monster 700 watt stack. And you always have a spare amp! Plus, you can always add one or two extension cabs to get 850 or even 1,000 watts!! And the combo actually weighs 2.5 lb.s less than a 210 cab, not that you'll notice.

So, yes, I'd recommend them all! Take your pick as to which to get first.

I wish! But it does however hold my pedal board, stands and cables. So all is not lost, lol
