Fender Rumble Club

Love it!! Nice gear setup! I definitely wanted a rig to gig with and this fender lineup has definitely lived up to its expectations.
I assume you like your HD800 head (what's not to like). I have almost pulled the trigger on one several times, it will happen one day soon. Love the tone from my R200C, so I figure the HD800 is just more of the same. Plus, it is good down to 2 ohms, so it is an excuse to get a third R115, right? Talk about SPL, that will do it.

Why stop at just three 115 cabs when the Rumble 800 HD can run four of them? :woot::bassist::hyper::drool:
.

Nice rig! Looks like you sort of followed the same path I did. I had a R200C first and liked the sound, so bought a R115 cab to go with it. Really liked the sound of the cab, so ended up buying a second R115 cab so I would have a pair to use with other heads. I use the R115's at gigs a lot, usually with the Quilter head. They are light to carry, loud with great tone, and don't cost an arm and a leg so I don't worry as much taking them places. Here is a pic of some of the gear including the 2 R115's and the R200C (on the left, on its side).

Looks like there is room to hang another bass on the door. I'd say a Guild Starfire??

Adding an extension cab to your 500c will increase volume and fullness. I play mine through a 112 - which is now hard to find - but lot's of positive reviews can be found with adding the 115. As I always say - especially in a band setting - moving mo air is mo better! ;)
Yeah true. I'll see how much I have left to spend for Christmas. I'm either going to get the 15 extension or the Rumble 40 for small acoustic gigs.

So does the Rumble 200 blow away the Rumble 100v3? Thinking about upgrading. Any and all inputs appreciated.

I have 1 of each. Blow it away? It depends on what one is trying to achieve. The 15 in the 200c gives me a little bit 'fatter' lows and obviously can be louder. Most of the places we play/ed, the 100 is sufficient and substantially lighter(we don't mic amps-no need)and since all our gigs are one-niters, ease of load in/out matters. Especially to 75 y/o me.
The other obvious difference is that the 200c has extension speaker capability. One of the main reasons I bought it first(of three Rumbles: 40, 100, 200c-all v3's). I also had a 112 extension speaker I sold 'cos it wasn't getting used. The 200c/112 sounded amazing but there was only one place I could justify taking the "stack" and we don't play there any more(closed).
If I was starting over, knowing what I now know, I'd have gotten 2 R100's-1 for most gigs, daisy chained when "necessary" and having identical 'backups'.
As it is, I have been known to daisy chain the R100/200c.:D

I have a Rumble 500 head and 115 cab. I am considering another 115 to get the full 500W out of the the amp.

Does it makes sense to get a matching set of 115's or go with a 210?

I ask this in regards to the folks with a Rumble 500 combo that has a 210 cab....is another 210 or a 115 a better choice for second cab?
I have a Rumble 500 head, R115 cabinet and R210 cabinet. The cabinets do sound different to me, and I find that they have different attributes for different venues.

I have run them as a 115+210 stack, getting the full 500W from the head, and the volume was impressive.

If you like the sound of the 115 and don't necessarily want or need tonal variety, then get another one and rock!

I had a R500 combo w/1-15 and it was amazing in my living room. Don't need this much BOOM. Lol

Thanks. I have the Studio40 and the R100. I don't play out due to health issues, but I'd love to get loud in our high ceiling great room in our cabin. So, if the R200 isn't significantly louder then the R100, it would not be worth it.

I probably need to seriously take the time to adjust a setting on the Studio 40 as I do on the R100, as i have them chained and I'd probably get more Boom. It is 140W combined after all with a 10 and a 12.

Thanks for your detailed input.
