I didn't know you were even considering lining your R100c, Goner. Please give us the deets! What materials? How thick? How much/many walls? What results? Spill, please! .
Had a 15+" square piece of 1/2" thick foam left over from lining my R40. Cut 3 5+" strips, 1 on the top, 1 on each side (inside, of courseNosy... Enquiring minds wanna know.

). seems to 'tighten' it up a bit. The club we were s'posed to play at has a ~6" high hollow wood stage/platform and even on the MudStand, the amp had very little 'definition'. We've played there about 4(?) times b4. Obviously, the results sitting on my carpeted LR floor are different. I'll test it on the MudStand some time b4 our next gig, which may be 12/5(same place)-or not. Aaaaaarrrrrrghhh!

Hello Rumblers (that was bad, wasn't it?). Anyway, I have a question that some of you may find blasphemous. I currently have a relatively new Rumble 200 combo. I'm thinking about getting a much larger amp and a couple of cabs for other situations. Leaning toward either a Mesa Boogie D800+ or an Aguilar something. With those, I'd likely get a 1x12 and a 1x15 cab. Both the cabs are 8 ohm. Out of an abundance of curiosity, and looking at maximum flexibility, would either of those cabs work as an extension cab for my Rumble (obviously not both cabs, just would use one of them)? Or does a Rumble extension cab need to be a Fender? I'd think any 8ohm cab would work fine.

That would be correct. The 2x10 that I use as an extension cab is 8ohms, and no problems. Good Luck.

Yes, as @dbbltime said, you are correct, sir. Most any 8 ohm cab should work OK, if it can handle the up to 100-watts continuous that your R200c can put into it (or if you keep the volume down, if not)
Now, that's not to say that other brands will sound as good as the Rumble cabs that were actually designed to work best with Rumble amps and combos. But they should work OK.

Yes, SB, a 16 ohm cab would be electrically acceptable to use, since it is above the 8 ohm minimum. But, it probably won't give the full extra power that an 8 ohm cab would!
That is, just like the R500c built-in 8 ohm cab gives only 70%, or 350-watts max, of the amp's 500-watt potential, the 16 ohm cab may only give some similar percentage of the extra 150-watt potential, for example, perhaps only about ~100-watts(+/-), and may even reduce the power to the internal cab, say ~50-watts(+/-) for a total of just ~400-watts(+/-), which may amount to an imperceptible difference. [Swag figures! There's prob'ly a way to calculate a closer estimation, but I'm not familiar with it] At any rate, the 16 ohm external cab would produce a lot less power than the 8 ohm internal cab! If that is acceptable to you, then go for it!

I like the Harke 1x12 HD Cab. $399.00. Adjustable ohms, 4 or 8 and Exactly 19 inches wide so a perfect fit with the R200 Either 32 or 34 lbs and pretty. Plenty of watts too.
Thanks for the suggestion. When I get closer to actually shopping for my next rig, I'll put up a new thread. In the meantime, I've got several other issues at home that are demanding $$$ (Kids, Christmas, 2 birthdays, a new oven, something interesting for my wife, not to mention whatever she gets me for Christmas with my salary, etc.) which need to come first.
I bet it would provide some serious clarity and popping BOOM..
