Rumble 100 v3 received yesterday if you could conjure me up a number please

I think a 212 cab should be possible to make as a nice DIY project if you have some skill and the right tools and materials. I own the 500 combo and 210 and took them apart - of course ;-) - and the construction is not very complicated. The sound character can be harder to predict, I won't underestimate the science that goes into some designs. Still, it should be possible to make a nice sounding one. Maybe I'll take it up as a holiday project.I've heard of no really new ideas lately. There is the long-hoped-for Rumble Club 400 head & combo and the Rumble 212 cab that are still on the collective wish list, though.
And even the Bassman Club has only the mini-Bassman head wish.
Unless someone has some cool fantasies they haven't shared yet. Anyone? Anyone? Buehler?
.
Best would be to try another bass and/or amp so you can rule out either one.Hi Rumblers,
Anyone ever get an occasional slight 'fart' to the Rumble sound, especially when digging in hard on the strings??
I would describe it as though there's a bit of overdrive/fuzz on the sound, not exactly that, but a definite hint of sort of cab distortion/vibration. Like the drive circuit is permanently on but not quite. EQ flat, starts with volume & gain around 11 o'clock.
Had my Rumble 500 combo for a few years and this has VERY OCCAISIONALLY happened before. But another day it sounds fine, clean and punchy. Cant put a finger on it. Sure there might well be things in my cluttered practice room vibrating (which I can hear), but something seems to emanate from the cab/speakers. Try it in different positions, on a rug, on bare (lino) floor. I used to have it all the time on a wooden (mdf) cabinet, but I moved that out to create more space.
I'm hoping that tomorrow it will go (as before) but worries me at the time that something is wrong inside the unit.
OR could it be within the bass pickups circuitry? (dont have another amp to compare)
Anyone ever have similar and how was it explained/resolved ??
Thanks for any feedback
Turn your gain down or off. I used to think I had to have the gain up as well as the master volume and I found out last night you did not. I was getting the same thing slightly and I turn the gain off and my volume stayed up and I was surprised!Hi Rumblers,

Me! I’ve been meaning to play it outside to see whether or not it’s the combo.Hi Rumblers,

Hey, rumblers!
I made a thread asking for tips, if anyone cares enough and has the time to share their knowledge with me, I would really appreciate that.
There's no need but I would appreciate advice and guidance from more seasoned musicians, thank you! <3
One year progress - may I ask for some advice?
Yeah. Keep doin' what you're doin'. Just like sports teams, never ignore the fundamentals. Review what you (think)you know in your warm up routine.Hey, rumblers!

Not seeing the pics from your google drivebassville pete joins
actually my story about buying and playing the bass began when I joined this forum. Sadly due to the coronavirus economic crises, I ( maybe many of us here ) ended up going to the pawn shop and hocked all our guitars and amps. I did keep my Gibson Les Paul and a Zen-on classical. So the other day I pulled myself out of my coronavirus slump and said "wft". Time to get a new bass amp and a new bass guitar. So here I am.
I hope to do a log now keeping track of my progress on the forum, but I'm going at the basics, ear training and most importantly, "songs". Hope I'm on the right track, folks.
Oh, and them mask are important to wear when indoors (shopping) in a crowded area, like grocery stores.
What's more important now... toilet paper or Free Online Bass Lessons - Talkingbass.net

On my screen here they show up on the forum. Is that what you are talking about?
The only way I could post pictures were on google drive. Is there another way of doing that?
OK, I just notice something. To see the pictures, one must be using Chrome. I went back to Edge and the pictures do not show up on this screen, but if you log in using Chrome for this site I would think the pictures show up on the forum.
I don't know how to add pictures on MS edge ?
Any help...?
Not browser related. I use Chrome and see what's attached. Why don't you simply upload the pictures using "upload a file" button under the edit window? (Which is how I am adding the pic I mentioned.)
EDIT: Alternatively maybe you can go to your Google Drive and adjust the access rights of these images if that is a possibility, right now I think only you can see the images even if one is logged into Google (I see under the part of the image I attached, in the hidden area, that I am indeed logged into my Google account with my Chrome at the moment but I do not see the pic).

Maybe there is some occasional vibration of the speaker cable inside the combo?
Did you check for any loose screws, etc?

Is your bass active? Could it be related with a low charged battery? Thanks Eric. But only 1 bass and this amp. Plus lockdown in UK.
Maybe I should look inside. I checked the front of the speakers, all looked fine. Wondered if speaker had damaged as sounded so poopie.
Today, I unplugged ALL cables in my pedal chain & effects loop and tried the bass staight into the combo. Sounded better. Dodgy cable? So then connected up bit by bit and it all now sounds OK??!
Weird. Have had similar on rare occasions - messes with your ears/brain. Electrics still mystifies me.
