Our band is scheduled to play New Years Eve at "Finland House", Lantana, FL-assuming we don't get cancelled. We played there for Finland Independence Day on 06/12/2020. They liked us and asked us to do NYE. Nice people, nice place. It is for sale at the local ”musician net” [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
, haven’t seen it. Just sent him a message (it is to late here to call) that I’m interested. So might go and check it out tomorrow. He writes it’s hardly used, so it should be in good shape. A new one here is about 110 €.

Question: If people from Finland are called 'Fins', and people from Poland are called 'Poles', then why aren't people from Holland called 'Holes'?![]()
Thanks John!Very classy looking (amp and bass both).

That is reserved for some people here in the US.

My Grandparents were from Holland, and I was born in and live in the US. I'm not sure I like what you seem to be implying about me!

.I will do that but recently I lost all my photo's on my phone! I hadn't saved any of my current rig to my pc and external hard drive! I will get some here at home but don't have any gigs setup until April. Pics coming!!Well, har, it's about time you showed us a photo and got an official Club number. How 'bout it?

Thanks. Not that I need it, but I just think my 200c and pair of 100c:s need a little brotherThat all sounds promising. Good luck!
That sounds nice GP. I haven’t played live, in front of an audience, since beginning of this yearOur band is scheduled to play New Years Eve at "Finland House", Lantana, FL-assuming we don't get cancelled. Also rehearsals are out of the question since about a month
. Well, maybe the new year will slowly take things back to normal again...When in Rome, do as the romans do.Question: If people from Finland are called 'Fins', and people from Poland are called 'Poles', then why aren't people from Holland called 'Holes'?![]()
So when in Holland, do as the ..Holes do?When in Rome, do as the romans do.
When in Turkey, do as the turkeys do.
I herewith publicly admit to not yet owning a Rumble.
Way back when I lived in Chicago, a bunch of us from work did a race day, taking staff and s.o.'s to the Arlington race track. One guy's wife was born in Poland and moved to the U.S. as a child. She was nice, but quiet and shy. While everyone else was pouring over the race sheets, she just sat there. Didn't bet a dime. Until the last race of the day, when "her horse" was running. That horse? Polish Navy was his name. A 50-1 long shot. That finished first! She took home more money than the rest of us lost cumulatively. All four of my grandparents were from Poland.
Signed, the Pole....

Why, thank you for remembering, G-Dog! Indeed it has just happened: I now have a Rumble. V3 15c, so it's kind of a Humble Rumble. See pics.Is this still the case, instru? Still no Rumble yet?
You've been lurking here quite some time, which you're certainly welcome to do, of course. Just let us know if we can help you decide on one.
'Til then, we wish you a safe and enjoyable holidays there, in the lower lands. I'll always remember my visit there fondly.

I traded it for pedals I wasn't using. A really good deal, since I'm surely using the Rumble. Just now I played my fiver over it, and small as it is it didn't blink: a low B sounds like a low B. Pure bass goodness, and so portable! As it happens I didn't have the car the day I got it, and I had to carry it several miles across town. Which was no problem.
I have a question: there's some black textile sorta tape sticking out at the lower right corner. Does anyone know what it is? And what to do about it? It looks like it wants to be folded back inside, but then I'd have to open the whole thing up, and I don't know how to do that. Other than that triviality my preowned Rumble is certainly in top shape and is game for anything.
