Fender Rumble Club

I remember your journey with the 500 Combo that was broken and having to "disable it" in order to save it from the junk pile. Good for you and who needs a tweeter anyway ;)?
Truth be told, the rumble drivers sound more than bright enough, while staying musical rather than harsh, if you boost the treble (or hit the bright switch).

So I basically got a free Rumble 210 cab... it was a combo that wouldn’t power up. Fender replaced the customer’s amp and gave me instructions to destroy the amp. I have to send pictures to prove that the unit was destroyed as well as remove the serial number... but the cab was fair game to keep! Does anyone have a schematic handy that can tell me which wire is which? I’m planning on wiring a speaker jack to the harness pictured above. I’m also hoping that the two red wires from the horn on/off switch will work with this rigged setup.
Ok here is the “combo to cab” conversion post

Attention: Rumble Club Wiki Edit Alert!

Thank you, @Texican, for sharing your makeover of your a Rumble combo! Tex, your original post of the faulty Rumble 500 that you converted to a 210 cab has been linked on the Rumble Club Wiki page near the middle of the Rumble Modifications section, with other mods. This is a great example of salvaging greatness from a throwaway that is sure to be the envy of many a bassist.

Thanks, Texican, for your sharing.

My Rumble 200 head and 115 cab are enough for the forseable future.

Can I stay in the club?

:roflmao: Of course you can stay in The Club, macca! You've still got a Rumbke rig. You're still a member in good standing.

Besides, you'll probably be getting another R500c, RS800c, or whatever the going Rumble is, later when we get thru all this and live music becomes The Thing again. ;)

I've had my Rumble 200C 6 yrs today (14-01-15), & it is still a great sounding/looking combo. It still has the yellow cardboard advertisement on it :D, and still the vintage switch is the only one I've used :cool:.

Congratulations, Lucky! That's a great run. Makes me realize that I'll be celebrating the 7th anniversary with my Rumble 500 combo this coming summer. I'm usually not an early adopter of new things, but this new model seemed too good to be true.

Great spec's, high power, light weight, great price!! I actually expected to return it when, not if, it turned out to be just hype. But I was more than shocked!! I was flabbergasted!!! :woot: It really was all as advertised! I really put it through its paces with my loud country cover band, and it excelled beautifully! I even tried it with my Bassman 115 neo cab and it totally killed!! Actually, it was overkill!?! Only did that a few times before realizing I never really needed the extension cab any more. But, it's nice to have, just in case. ;)

Lots of Rumble love here.
