Fender Rumble Club

@eddiejones I use a rumble 25 in my living room next to my comfortable chair. I play that thing every day and every night for an hour or two and I like it. Recently I started taking it to a jam session with two guitar players. No drummer. Low volumes. Works great there too. If you put it against a wall or in a corner it sounds better. But it works well. So yes, I like it.

I like the Rumble 25. From my limited experience with it it surprised me. I didn't expect it to actually sound good.

That said I feel like your Tele is worth more than the 'Nez and Rumble. In Beaver Bucks those SR400s are $6-700 new and a Rumble is $160. Even the cheapest MIM Tele is nearly $1000 and special editions are easily more. Plus at least around here Ibanez has terrible resale value compared to Fender. I couldn't sell an SR300E for $250 and it was mint with flats on it. I got slightly more then that on a trade in at Long & McQuade.

My current Ibanez is a BTB 705DX with Aguilar pickups and preamp. If you bought its equivilant and these electronics you'd be looking at a brand new price around $2000. I traded a $400 bass and some pedals for it.

I think it is the low end 400 series. I think I may pass, not because of the amp but because I will just sell the Telecaster and buy something better. Right now I am using a bass LTD B50FM that suffices for the moment.

As a guitar player myself, I wince at the idea of getting rid of a good guitar. :facepalm: I'm not intimately familiar with your NashvilleTele, but I've had great experiences with other Fender Deluxe guitars & basses.

Don't know what your current rig sounds like, but a real bass amp will probably sound much better than a guitar amp playing bass! As Michael & BBassB said, the Rumble 25 is a great(!) bedroom amp, and can do well in small low-volume groups, too!

But, as I usually recommend to all amp and computer shoppers, get the biggest (though not necessarily the heaviest), most powerful one you can afford, even if you have to make payments for a while! It'll (generally) keep you satisfied much longer and be more versatile than something that's "just OK for now". Buy once, cry once. :crying: Then get on to making your music and enjoy! :bassist:

There's a vendor at the South Florida Fair that has a pulled pork sundae: the pork(obviously), but mashed potatoes and bbq sauce are the other ingredients.

Not for me @GonePlaid . Put that pulled pork on a sandwich or in a burrito and I’m in all day though! Here’s what the sundae has:
“Layers of ranch style beans, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and pulled pork served in a mason jar topped with a cherry tomato and horsey sauce and a sweet and spicy pickle.”
I’ll eat any of that separately but not all of it in a mason jar! Lol

That looks like a pretty cool bass. No need to move on from it. Want is another thing entirely though and I fully support that!:thumbsup:

I think that's a better plan then trading. Plus maybe you'll decide after the sale you want to keep your LTD and get a big Rumble instead. ;)

I am actually considering keeping the LTD for now and trading the Tele for a bigger Rumble as you said or another amp of similar value should I come across one... Hartke, Ampeg, Eden, Peavey, etc... I did set up the LTD and put EB 50-105 strings on. It plays and sounds wonderful now

I'm not a guitar player(converted saxist), but I play some guitar[I gots A and E and I'm workin' on D], but I had a Tele-and also a NR Firebird-that I shoulda held on to 'cos they'd be worth a whole lotta $$ now.
In other words, ya might wanna hang on to that git-fiddle.
BTW, I have 50-105 EBCF's on my 67 NR TBird. Love 'em.

It is a MIM Nashville. Nice guitar. Just not for me. It looks great and plays nice. Sounds the way a good Tele should. And the center pickup brings strat tones to the party.
