Just FYI, I used my Fender Rumble 100 combo very happily for a few years. When the pandemic hit and all available gigs were outdoors, I started worrying about whether 100 was enough in wide-open spaces, so I started taking my Aguilar TH350 and a MarkBass 2x10. I still love that combination, but it's two pieces to carry and the MB cab is heavier than the Rumble.
Decided to try the Rumble at an outdoor party over the weekend on what must have been almost an acre of land. It was absolutely fine for my upright in an acoustic, drummerless trio. I used very little Gain, never turned the Volume past 12:00, and guests reported that the mix was just fine.
Bottom line: For the gigs we have coming up this summer, I'm going to take the Rumble just because it's so dependable and lightweight. If it's not up to the task at any time, I'll let you know.
