Someone around TB refers to bass as "the original surround sound". IMO, that's one of the things a 15(or 2)gives you. Fills a room even at a bit less wattage. That was what I did like when I used the 112 ext. cab.

I just got one myself, and I'm having a good time with it.
It’s actually pretty minimal. It’s not linear, it’s logarithmic. To be twice as loud as 140 it would have to be 1400 watts. 350 vs 140 is not a lot. Also you have to consider that you aren’t running either at full power. You’re only using a fraction. In a real world application, the difference will be minimal
I'm no expert on these things, but I chose the 200 over the 500 (which was available to me at a great price) because of the difference between the 15 and the two 10s. I doubt I'd ever max out either one in a performance setting, so I didn't worry about the power difference and focused on getting that fat, wide, long wave pumping out. I might be dumb, but I bought the 200 confidently because I reasoned that I would have preferred it, even if both were the same price.
That’s the way to go. Pick what you like the sound of.

My rumble 500 head started smoking and emanating burnt plastic smell tonight.
Been happy w my Rum115 since February this year. Push it with an ancient Yamaha B100. Impressed with price, build, and sound. The light weight makes it a total win.

Thank you for my number. The Yamaha B100 was from a combo with a 15" speaker. It sounded like butter but the danged thing weighted in at about 90 lbs. This Rumble thread has been very cool. Yes, Rumble On!
