Fender Rumble Club

I have been playing Sharp Dressed Man for years, we also do Jesus left Chicago. We used to do Legs. I used some delay and distortion with my Zoom B1 to simulate the synth on Legs. When we were learning it the guitar player was worried about the synth part until he heard me play it. I played the E on the 7th fret A string for the fast synth part and hammered on the low E on the B string with half notes for the bass part.

Hey, I just had my first chance to play an hour or two through my recently bought Rumble 200 combo, and I was really enjoying it. I played a lot of thick, subwoofer, treble-averse reggae tunes, to get the old Studio One and "Family man" Barrett sound. I also did "Soul Sacrifice" plus some "Ball of Confusion", "Theme from Shaft" and other early soul/funk stuff. I think today's practice, alone, was worth the $299 I paid for the R200 combo.
I love Ball of Confusion! My TB CP thru my R100 nails the studio tone, too.

I think I’d have to use whatever Jimbo uses even if it’s not a Rumble! Love that guy. Just wish I could play like him. Or play an upright at all!! Now I’ve got to go have a Psychobilly Freakout!

That's Jimbo's GK stack in the back and Vic Victor's GK stack towards the front.

Just stopping by to mention that I ordered a Rumble 200 combo today, should have it Friday.

Looking forward to the meaty tone of a 15" speaker again.

Good for you, lowend! Post a pic here when you get it for a free membership and the keys to all Rumbling wisdom and knowledge.

I have a Rumble 500 watt 219 [210].. Is the 15 similar in overall OUT PUT in Volume?

No. The 140W 115 simply cannot match the volume of a 350W 210. Simple physics. Identical pre-amps; similar cone areas and identical cabs, but different capacity power amps.

That said, there are plenty of R200c owners here that swear they get all the volume they need out of it, and I have no reason to doubt that. Many of them also say they hear different tones from the 115 than the 210, while my R500c 210 sounds quite similar to my Bassman 115 NEO cab to me. So, as always, YMMV.
