Awesome! Is the GK also new? To go along with the R500?
I really want to go home and try it. I can't believe I can't go straight home after work today. That means it'll be late ours and I won't be able to crank the volume up....

No, the GK is what I am hoping to replace (improve) with the Rumble.

I feel for you wanting to go home to try it, but immagine my situation, it is sitting behind me and I haven't had chance to try it yet (too many emails!)

Ok, so I just got to spend 10 mins with the Rumble between emails. Long enought just to check that everything works (except DI, headphones and line in, as I didn't have anything handy).

Plugged in my VM Jaguar (passive), with DiMarzio p'ups and GHS Flats and wow! Before I even started tweaking or turning knobs, I got an beautiful old school tone that until now I only got with the SVT patch and some tweaking in my Zoom B3.

I will try to get some real "play time" in over the weekend, but if the first tone I got out of it is anything to go by, I will be ordering a 210 extension cab. Finally I may downsize my rig from the 100kg monster that it is now.

When I have had some time to try more modern sounding basses I will give a proper opinion on this, but so far my opinion is :bassist:

(I also think I owe @Linnin a thank you for being so repetitive and getting me to look at what all the fuss was about, but don't tell him!)
