Fender Rumble Club

Just pulled the trigger on a Rumble 500 head and matching 15 cab! Ordered from Amazon with an expected delivery date of between the 19th and 24th. For the past couple years, I have been playing with my SansAmp straight to FOH with IEM's. The sound was, and is, really good, but I'm looking forward to feeling the stage rumble once again! :bassist: Of course, now that I have the bug again, I'm sure an additional 15 cab is in my future.

Have been waiting three weeks for the local Fender dealer to get a new shipment of amplifiers. Love my Rumble 40 but am in the market for something bigger. Really want to pick up a Rumble 500 combo for my Friday night jam sessions. Some of the other players keep telling me to go elsewhere and just buy something, but I'm holding out. If I'm going to drop that kind of money, it's going to be for something I really want.

Welcome to the Fender Rumble Club, kdogg! :woot: You are member #395 :hyper:
Yes kdogg, a Fender Rumble 500 head on top of a stack of twin Rumble 115 cabs would sound massively awesome.
 Rumbles Rock! :smug:

Not that I know of. They have yet to reach our shores yet. Europe will probably get them first. If they are not killer, I'd be much taken aback.

Yes, non-undersized 112 w/ eminence speaker, at half or less a price of Aguilar or glockenklang, sounds very nice. but single 12's have always been a wonky thing, even high end ones, so I'll wait reviews prior to buying.

Gigged my Fender Rumble 350 this weekend. Used just one 4x10 GK cab. Outside no less. Filled the whole place with warm smooth groovy bass tone. I use to be a GK guy. But I think I'm turning to the Fender side more and more. Amazing how they pack all that sound into such a small head. If I ever need anything bigger (I don't see how) I would definitely get the Rumble 500. But when I add a second 4x10 it just sounds awesome. Volume set no higher than 12 o'clock. Most tone controls set pretty much there as well. Overdrive set minimally and the contour switches are off. My American jazz controlled all the tone and volume easily. Fender got a winner.

Rumble 200 takes on Turning Stone Casino! Plenty of stage volume. Vintage on, all EQ at noon except high mid at 1:00pm. Gain at noon and Master at 1130. Rocked it!

If your local dealer will allow you to reserve yours, I would recommend you do so. They seem to sell super fast. My local dealer can't seem to keep one in stock more than a couple of days... In stark contrast to the other amps that are there for months on end...

Thanks for the tip. I did let him know that I was interested in a Rumble 500, and gave him my cell phone number. Hope he took that as asking him to reserve one for me. I bought my bass and Rumble 40 from him, so he knows I'm a real customer.

Thank you, I was just hoping. Looks like I may need to sell or trade it in and move up to a head and separate speaker cab.

The V3 Rumble 200 and V3 Rumble 500 combos both have output jacks for external speaker cabinets. Depending on your preferences, I would suggest you check those out. I believe the 200 is a 1x15 rig, I know the 500 is a 2x10 rig. (I own one)... Like my signature says, go audition one. You will be pleased with what you hear...
