Fender Rumble Club

Sooo ... what is your proposed resolution?
.

Add the requirement of a photo for all new members going forward? Great idea you had there, Fearless Leader! I second that motion.

May I offer an amendment? Extant members are encouraged (but not required) to offer photos of their Rumbles if they have not previously done so.

I’m happy to oblige. Here is my Rumble 500 with 210 extension cab, my Rumble 40 and 15…

… and my Studio 40.

R. I don’t have the authoriėty, as only the Temporary Rumble Club Membership Number Issuer, to impose a photo requirement condition for membership, which has not actually previously existed for the first 8½ years of this Club.

b.3. True, I have unknowingly enforced a wrongly perceived photo requirement for the past 2 years in my temporary "reign of terror," for which I now most abjectly apologize and most heartily repent of not to so do again!

2. The only Fearless Leader hereabouts is His Majesty @iagtrplyr, AKA Rumbler #175 (the closest one I know to a founding Rumbler still active here), who is, indeed, both fearless (he teaches kids in public school!) and a leader par excèllánče! (mandated by its membership, in a bloodless coup, to gloriously revive the faltering Combo Club!)

☆¡ All are encouraged, though none are required, to post photos ad infinitëum. The more the merrier! Rumbles. Rumbles with basses. Rumbles at home. Rumbles at gigs. Rumbles at work. Rumbles at play. Rumbles, Rumbles, Rumbles!

I just can’t say enough about my American Performer 2018 Mustang @Black Out Jazz . I purchased 2 basses this year and this is not gonna sound believable and to each his own but I bought the 75th anniversary P-Bass (2k) and returned it

and this G&L 1000 (gorgeous finish) $1,600 and better than the P Bass in my view but wasn’t for me so I returned that

I actually liked my $300 Gretsch Jr Jet better than either of the way more expensive basses and neith one of those expensive basses held a candle to my $1,200 Mustang. Beautiful finish. Sounds great. Awesome neck. Comfortable to hold. Love the pick guard.

Of course to each his own. And EVERY bass/guitar is different with its own character and feel so maybe I just got 2 “bad” ones but in the end I’m happy with these two. Maybe someday if I hold a P-bass in my hands that sings to me like the mid 70s one I had back in the day or the Jazz I had in the early 90s I’ll grab it but I’m staying with these…..
