I got a few Rumbles. These are at the rehearsal space: Rumble 500 combo with extension cab, I haul them where my band needs them.

I Got a Rumble 100 v3 for when we do acoustic sets.. Can I join your club?

Interesting day yesterday. 2 gigs at the same place(1 set-up). B'day party, 4-7; regular patrons 7-10. Lotta overlap of folks so kinda faded out by 9:30ish. Long day but double pay(yay!). Used this rig: 67 TBird>R100.

ink, I tell you for true, I am well and thoroughly stymied over the pros and cons, as I see them, of diving off into the intriguing world of upright bass.

1. After an epiphany at an outdoor country church reunion with both A & E guitars (no bass), I commenced to mess with a guitar around the tender age of 10 in the pre-Beatles Era. As my daddy was a radio & TV fan of Country, Rockabilly, Bluegrass & Gospel, my rebellious youth was honor bound to pursue Rock 'n' Roll instead, to his consternation. Thus, the acoustic UB became a symbol to be despised (even in early RnR!), except in the symphonic context which held a special fascination. A few years on, The Beatles and the British Invasion irrevocably cemented my leanings. Little did I realize the Brits' influences from my daddy's chosen genres!

B. As a young daddy myself, after no mean rock & pop experiences with my own electric bass guitar, I was privileged to spell the country UB player at an outdoor family reunion. I admit it held my focus as I never thought possible. But both the expense and time of any pursuance was so far beyond my resources that it didn't even bear consideration at that time. Flash forward to retirement these last several years and the fantasy has persisted. Hmmm, ... who knows what the near future may hold?

Meet Squire jazz, Fender customized PJ Noir, Rumble 100 amp (with Rumble 25 amp pouting in the other room) I'm a 2020 Lockdown Bassist, having fun. I came from Pro-playing drums for 30+ years. So, I know a lot and I know nothing.

I was using a Vics model B which is a great budget pickup.
However, it did not like my new to me bass so I went with my backup Fishman. They are fairly unloved, but it’s gotten me through some jobs. I need to shim the new bridge and experiment some more to get the right setup. It’s a constant struggle to amplify the big guy.

Nice setup there!! The 25 can even hang at a practice! Admittedly we are no Aerosmith.

Hey Guys

The one Rumble 100 combo that I used just the cabinet - well the amp kinda died. The volume is in and out (mostly out) and distorted when played.

I went to several places to fix (bought used so no warranty) and they all laughed and told me to throw away and buy another amp.

So to any of you that want to tinker - if you pay shipping you can have it. I do not want to just throw away.
