Great deal. My 100 is my go to practice amp for bass and guitar.
I want to be in a situation where things are big enough that a heavy handed drummer is reasonable as a problem!IME the 100 will not hold its own vs. a heavy-handed drummer. YMMV

Just ordered a Fender Rumble 100 from Sweetwater!! They have them on sale $80 off!! It looks like a bargain to me!! When I get get it I will ask for a number!!! These are not Demos!!
Ours isn't.IME the 100 will not hold its own vs. a heavy-handed drummer. YMMV
Does the aux in and headphone out sound the same on a rumble v3 15 compared to the rumble 40. I can get one cheap and will only be using for practice with headphones.
Sadly, they don’t. The Rumble 15 has a different (and IMO inferior) preamp, which has a level of hiss that is not great for headphone practice.Does the aux in and headphone out sound the same on a rumble v3 15 compared to the rumble 40. I've had a Rumble 500 for awhile that I bought for band practice and small/acoustic gigs. I think it sounds great but haven't actually taken it to a full band gig. My band rarely practices so it's seen very little action
The last few gigs I had to use it due to space constraints during transport. My main band is a variety type group that mainly plays private functions. I usually use an Aguilar AG700 with an Aguilar 410SL or a Trickfish 1K with a Mesa SW410. I dig both rigs. But...after playing the last few gigs with the 500, I think I may prefer the Rumble. It sounds very fat and warm with great note definition and is extremely loud. I keep the master around 2 or 3 and it's plenty with a drummer, two guitars and keys. Load in is easier, too. So until the 500 proves otherwise, it is now my main gigging amp.
I’ve been using the 500+210 extension cab for quite a few reggae gigs this summer. Nice to get some height on the combo so I can hear myself better. I’m finding I have ample power and headroom with the pair, even outside.
