Fender Rumble Club

My 100 suffered smoke damage. Decided to replace the cloth because of the smell.

On a related note, has anyone ever replaced the knobs on their rumble? Mine are discolored.
I have nothing against replacing the grill cloth at all. As to replacing the knobs, as you can see from pictures that were posted, those witch hat knobs look great on Rumbles. I want some for my R40 and my R500c.

Yeah, they look good, but now you gotta translate all the "o'clock" settings to 1-10 numbers.
To each their own, of course, and I admit it does look nice. :)

However, I find that the standard knobs are much easier to read. I did find them a little cheesy (no pun intended) initially, but quickly discovered that white knobs on a black amp make sense from a usability standpoint, as they are much more visible on a darkened stage, and the single line on the top is as easy to read as a watch face.

With the witch hat knobs it’s harder to tell what position they’re in. They rely on your being close enough to see the numbers, and they’re much better suited to a horizontal or slightly angled position, as you need to see them more or less from the top to see all the numbers. In a vertical position the top of the knob obscures the numbers behind it, and to make matters worse, the knobs on the Rumble are recessed, which means that the edge of the cabinet tends to obscure the rest.

Standard white knobs for me.

Makes sense from a gigging perspective. This is strictly for home use where aesthetics can trump practicality. I'm a scientist and numbered knobs give me an impression of accuracy...which I don't really need but get nervous without. :)

I like knobs with numbers on my basses, but I'm so used to Rumble's(and others)"o'clock" markings now that I don't even notice them. The center detent makes a difference too. IMO.

I got a good deal on a 500 combo today- mind blown by how good this thing sounds.
I have a 70's vintage Musicman 1x15 cab; can I use it with this? Do I have to make sure the ohms ratings match?

I have a 500 and a 100. They cover pretty much everything I need.

Great deal. My 100 is my go to practice amp for bass and guitar.
