Fender Rumble Club

Now is his chance. Buy a second R100, at the sale price and sell the R200. He will come out $ ahead. What say you @GonePlaid?
Things are on the cusp of improving(some), but I wanna make certain b4 I invest in any gear. By which time the sale will be over.:banghead:
Also, IDK where I'd sell the 200c. It's waaay outta warranty. I got it in November 2015. And it has a custom cover. And hasn't been outta the temperature controlled house for about 1 1/2 years.

I would say the TB Classifieds would be a good start...

If GC is matching the sale they might make a good trade!

I sold my 200c and a bunch of other stuff to a local guitar store (Gray Dog Guitars in Prescott, AZ). He was short of inventory, and gave me a decent price. I could have sold it for more, but would have had to deal with shipping, etc., and didn't want the pain. The owner sold it to a local guy the next day. He was happy. I was happy. It was nice to help out an independent music dude.

Local pickup...
Yeah, maybe. I'll look into it, but I really don't want a bunch of people in my house. As @Deleted member 268085 says, I'll check a coupla local stores-and GC for a trade.
Just for S&G, I checked 7ender's site. R200cV3s are not "on sale". $580.

One concern about my 200. The horn may have died-from not being used.

Yeah! More bargaining power for you with GC! Plus some for the custom cover!! Of course, any reasonable person would expect them to pay you $$ with the R100 for a slightly used, but tried and true, R200 w/custom cover!!! But, even just an even trade would give you your goal of two chained R100s for added headroom, if ever needed again. OR alternate R100s when one is enough.

Don't you turn it on with CDs for your set breaks? Granted, not in the last 1 1/2 years. But easily tested.

Good memory. And, yes, easily tested.

Dual Rumble 100's, 2 gigs last weekend, this is last night, one more tonight...I think this configuration is real, real workable.

I just gotta mention that your drummer is amazing for the tiny space taken up. You don't need to take up half the stage with a bunch of stuff like some drummers do. Nice double-Rumble also!

Don't know about GC in South Swamp but here on the left coast GC takes trades and with the 200 NOT on sale you might just get a fair trade with a 7 yr old toward a new 100.

Stopped in at a GC on my way back from Orlando to home. Was gonna ask for a ballpark guesstimate for my (excellent condition)200c-I didn't have it with me. The usual happened: because I'm older-and look it-not one salesman greeted me, asked if I needed help with anything, or acknowledged my existence. This has been my experience at this particular GC for awhile. I only stopped there because I had other business in the same shopping center and it was on the way to the house. I don't expect them to kiss my keester, but it was like I was in-effing-visible. So in the future, I'll drive a few extra miles and darken the door of a different GC.

I don't think it's the location. I think it's the GC "culture", or maybe the (several) generation gap.. I've experienced the same at several GC locations. I actually like the freedom to explore without the hassle. But, they will converse if asked, though. I think they must be intimidated by the look of experience, aka old age. I generally find their attempted responses to my questions either inadequate or non-existent. But I gotta remember to start off at an elementary level before asking what I really want to know (that they don't). [/rant]
