Unfortunately, the one mentioned is the closest to the house in case I need anything quick-like when I broke a string 2 hours b4 a gig(luckily I had an old set to 'borrow' from). Also, there's no independent brick&mortar stores here.I don't think it's the location. I think it's the GC "culture", or maybe the (several) generation gap.. I've experienced the same at several GC locations. I actually like the freedom to explore without the hassle. But, they will converse if asked, though. I think they must be intimidated by the look of experience, aka old age. I generally find their attempted responses to my questions either inadequate or non-existent. But I gotta remember to start off at an elementary level before asking what I really want to know (that they don't). [/rant]
