Fender Rumble Club

I had a Dayton Audio PA255-8 10" speaker from trials for my Warwick Gnome i. I preferred the FaitalPRO 10F200s in the cabs I assembled for it. Following AstroSonic's recommendation for this speaker. The only thing I didn't have on hand was the port tubes and they were inexpensive enough. The work went as expected, with one little sidetrack:

I had a little visit by FREDDY THE RUMBLE CAT came by to do his inspection. I passed inspection and continued to finish the project.

My take on this mod?

I Love it!

The amp sounded really good before, but now it's perfect for what I mostly play. As AstroSonic said in the post (linked above) the Dayton is best for Blues and Rock. It truly sits right there in that sonic palette. It got a bit louder too.

If you play Blue/Rock and need a practice/acoustic gig amp, it would be worthwhile to look into this setup.

Had this for a few years . I guess I should join .

Yes. Yes, you should. :)

StingRay5 Special and Rumble anyone?

[Courtly bow] M'Lady, I beg thee pardon the delay. [/courtly bow] @LadyLoveStingRay5, you are now member #1546 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and welcome. Please put that number in your TalkBass Signature for safe keeping. Then make yourself at home here and on your Rumble Club Wiki page.

So glad you returned. Alas, I was not previously empowered to induct you, but we've set that to rights now. Please tell us a bit about yourself, such as your bass experience in general and your Rumble journey in particular. We hope to see more of you now because, of course you know, we all love to ... ... ...

Rumble On!

StingRay5 Special and Rumble anyone?

I’ve never owned a Rumble but I played through a Rumble 500 at two different open mic recently, once with my 2007 ceramic SR5HH and once with my Stingray Special SR5HH. I was very pleased both times.

I also got to hear a variety of bassists playing a variety of styles and songs on a variety of basses and it did a nice job in all cases. My limited experience with Rumbles was quite positive.

Yes.

2018 StingRay 5 Special through Rumble 500 with 210 and 115 cabinets.

Im considering ditching my GK MB212ii for a Rumble 500 Combo and 210 Cab. I love the way all of my basses sound throughly Rumble

The stuff of dreams, but dream be gone. I was planning to replace the 200c I sold in the U.S. before moving here with a 200c and a 210, but the second bedroom (now my studio) in the apartment I wound up moving into is too small and I'm pretty sure that my neighbors can hear my Studio 40 anyway.

Fender Rumble sighting. For sure one Rumble, and maybe the Fender to the right of the Marshall combo is also a Rumble (can anyone confirm?). Not the best cover, but it's great that they're starting at that age. An SG, or more likely an Epi, is not a big guitar, but it sure looks big on that kid. I also admit that I was rude, and laughed at the picking hand work of the bassist.

Yep, Maarti, looks like 2 Rumbles to me! And good live sound, too! Wonder if they're chained together, since the guitar amps are mic'd?

Not bad for their age. That girl on the Mustang is definitely channeling Jimmy Page! Quite at ease with her instrument and pedals, unlike the bassist. And the young guy on the SG is pretty well disciplined to play just certain parts and let "Miss Jimmie" carry the song!

Thanks for sharing. :D

Yeah, I've been kind of impressed with the skill level the kids attending a School of Rock attain.

EDIT: I just figured out what the bassist's plucking hand reminded me of. Thing!

It’s two Rumbles all right, a 500/200 and a 100 by the looks of it.

Hi Yahboy
I'm new on TB, but I've been reading you for years.
I'm Italian and I apologize in advance for any linguistic mistake.

Is there any review of this Rumble amp?

Let me explain.
I love the Rumble 500 Combo tone, and I'd like to buy a Rumble 800 Combo, having neo magnets (and, so, its weight is only 29 lbs!!) : does it maintain the same tone?
Then... I'd like to add a 210 cab, in order to have a modular stack and, if necessary, 800W of rumble-power. But I have this "unhealthy" idea: replace the ceramic speakers of the 210 cab with the same neo speakers of the Rumble 800 combo. So, does Fender sell these replacement parts?

Many thanks in advance.
