The flexibility is pretty wonderful. If we don't have a "Rumble chaining scenarios" section of the Wiki, we should, and this should be in it.
Inspired by this forum, I have now redesigned my home made Custom Fender Rumble V3 head.
At the time I am using my Fender Rumble 115 V3 cabinet and I am aware of minimum 8 ohm speaker load. Cheers!

A little Rumble humor for this Fender Friday! I spent quite a bit of time in three seperate music stores in Springfield, Missouri today and believe it or not, I was never once asked if I needed any help. No, that's not the funny part. The funny part is this used V3 Rumble 25 I found at Guitar Center!
They need help if they think this is a V3. Did they list it as "In New Condition"? Oh, my, I would wear surgical gloves if I had to handle this one

A V1 Rumble, possibly as much as 20 years old! Reverb has a few actual V3s in that price ballpark, but most are over $100. They even have a much cleaner V1 at $99! Rumble reliability!!

The red pulsing light would be great but, so would be the lack of mysterious gunk everywhere else...
They’re definitely their own thing. I have an Epiphone fretless myself. I wouldn’t want to play an entire gig with it, but I like it in a back up role for the upright. Never spent any time with it to figure out the controls. The Epi is probably a step up from a Rogue. No big to set up, but I’m familiar with floating bridges and such.Such a struggle for me to not buy a Hofner violin bass, or something like it. I know one of these days I will lose that battle....
I hear mixed stories about them, some love them, say they can get a lot of different tones, etc., others say the opposite, and the bridge is a pain, setup is a pain, etc. I have no idea.

Yeah, it's hard to tell but, is it added mysterious gunk or is it rusted metal where the black paint was rubbed off, like around all the 1/4" jacks? The 'rat fur' actually doesn't look too bad, from what I can see.
I had a family member "take up bass" for a few months, several years ago, with a Squier Jazz & small Rumble amp package. After a few years of sitting in his garage, where the cat lived(!), it had a lot of additional fur matted into many ugly "styles", including "swirls", "cowlick", "litterbox", "frizz", "scratching post" and others. It finally got passed to another family member with actual bass experience. Hmmm, I need to follow-up and see what happened to that thing!

I just tried the 100 year old German flatback into the Rumble 15 for the first time. It was the perfect volume to keep up with guitars at an unplugged acoustic jam. It sounded great!
