I took some light ribbing at my previous church for using my Beats Studio 3 cans on stage, but the noise cancelling saved my ears from the drums. They were a Christmas present from work. Any in-ears that would give me their level of isolation and bass response were not going to be cheap, so I stuck with the Freebeats.

Good too 'see' you back amongst us. Same with us. After getting 'burned' a few times by someone saying they had a nice PA(they didn't), we take our own. We know how to set it/them for various size rooms. Most house PA's locally are only good for announcements like "Farquhar party of 5 1/2, yer table is ready" or "Will the owner of the white Toyota, license BFD 869, please move yer vehicle?"

That's how my 67 NR TBird got knocked over and got its first headstock damage in ~1974.:mad: The parents of the little bast...er, kids were 'connected' and I was told to STFU lest my neck might get broken.

Oh, Yeah. That reminds me-there's one place that put in a decent PA. They don't pay well and wanna charge the band $50. to use it. Eff that! We bring(brought-we won't play there anymore)ours.
