Women can and do rock as hard as men. Fanny were great. A current example is The Warning from Monterrey, Mexico. These three sisters are fantastic. There are a lot of full length concert videos on YT, but here are two songs, one with the drummer singing lead and one with the guitarist. I've been watching a lot of their concerts recently. Lots of yummy bass.

They're fantastic. At (IIRC) 9, Ale was already as good a bass player as I am now- and she's gotten much better since. Pau's a lot of fun to watch as a drummer - she puts her whole body into it.

I was trying to choose between getting a used 500C or a 200C. I think I might grab one these while it's on sale.

I don’t know about that linked listing, Mixxy. Something is messed up there. Selecting the "200" box gives the 40 description!! $475 is great for a 200, but not so much for a 40. And, in checkout, that description for the "200" still says its a 40 for $475!!! What up wid dat?!?

The actual big print listing doesn't change as you click the at the bottom of the listing-which I thought strange too.

But If you click on each amp model at the bottom, the pics and prices in the listing change to show the correct combo. And yes- $475 wouldn't be a good deal for a Rumble 40!

Since the seller is actually Amazon and not a distributor, I did take a chance and place an order for a 200c, figuring I can return it if the listing is incorrect - so we'll find out. It's supposed to be here tomorrow (Saturday).

I'll report back my findings.

And make sure the Amazon driver doesn't back into your van and leave like one did to my old gigmobile. They won't acknowledge they did it, even though my neighbor saw them, 'cos there's no video. I found it the next morning.

I also found a Rumble 200c locally for $225. They had it listed for $300 last month, just after I got the 115.

I DON'T NEED ANOTHER RUMBLE 200!

I'm barely going to use mine with both cabs, other than rattling the house or pissing off the neighbors!

Edit: Phew! It just sold today!

Edit: Phew! It just sold today!

I bought my Rumble 200c used like new with cover for $225 about 4 years ago, then a 115ext cab used with cover for $250. Still rocking both and hoping the combo lasts for quite a while longer !

I got my 200c new in Nov. 2015. Was using it on gigs most weekends b4 pandemic. Still using it coupla times a month-when I'm not using the 100.

Retired about a year ago. Was driving and heard a song on the radio and thought “I’d like to play that bassline”. We had a Yamaha RBX350, that our son left here 20+ years ago, laying around. It had a broken string. I took it to a small store up the street. Got a set of strings, some minor adjustments and a pot resoldered. I asked whether he had any cheap used amps - so I didn’t have to play thru my 70’s stereo receiver (at a very low volume). He showed me the one new amp he had - this Fender Rumble-40. I played through it and my wife said “Go ahead and get it”. So now I have it. I take a weekly lesson - since I only really ever banged around (without knowing much) on the Yamaha for 5-10 minutes once a month or so. My current teacher was a bassist in a USAF band for 26 years. I had an Early 70’s Mustang bass (back in the early 70’s). Really only banged around on that too. Use the 40 as a practice amp - as I’m not near the point where I would need anything bigger.

I don't think you could have done better for the money. I had a 40 combo that I had to sell when I moved to a 230V country (Rumbles aren't dual voltage), and bought a Studio 40 (modeling version) when I got here. They both sound great. I had a 40 combo that I had to sell when I moved to a 230V country (Rumbles aren't dual voltage), and bought a Studio 40 (modeling version) when I got here. They both sound great. Thanks! I did ‘luck’ into getting a decent small amp. I learned though that I need to check pricing before I buy! I assumed (bad choice) that the store was selling the Amp at some kind of standard price. After I had it a while and started to get promo messages from Fender I saw that I could have gotten a Rumble-100 direct from Fender (on a sale) for what I paid for the 40. I won’t trust that store in the future..

I usually am more diligent in price-checking but I wasn’t planning to buy when I went in.

I know you've mentioned b4 selling them 'cos they aren't dual voltage, but aren't adapters/converters available? Or was shipping them not worth it-compared to buying new [stuff]?

I was a day late getting to the Amazon $200 special for the Fender Rumble 100. Also a day late for Fender's price of $227. I called my local dealer the next day and they refused to sell one for less that $329. I contacted Fender and complained. They honored their $227 with free shipping. The local dealer will never get any business from me !
