Fender Rumble Club

You nailed it! Thanks a lot of the info! The other specifics I have found in my searches.

My experience with the Rumble lineup is the 2x8 and 12 stack which I liked a lot. This cab is “new” but has been collecting dust in a pawn shop for years. I will give it a test, make him a ridiculous offer, and see what happens.

I appreciate your advice!
2x8?

Yep. Fender did a 2x8 cabinet and it was an awesome little box. I bought it locally as a stack with the Rumble 350 head and a single 12 cab. They are not a common find but it was a cool little cab.

Yes!! The Rumble V2 2x8 & 1x12 cabs were Neodymium speakers in a very small cab rated 250 watts continuous, 500 watts program, IIRC. They were not very lightweight for their size. They caught my eye, along with the 350 head, due to my appreciation of miniaturization, in a music store a few years before the V3s were introduced. It was my first really good impression of the solid state Rumbles.

That's why when the R500 combo was introduced, starting at 350 watts standalone, it immediately hooked me into giving that seemingly-too-good-to-be-true amp a try. The rest is history.

It drives me crazy about the placement of the brand badge on some of these different brands cabinets.

Putting it directly in front of the dustcap of a single driver cab - that's got to be done by the marketing dept.!

'Zackly. I played through one many mango seasons ago. Nice sound, but WAY heavy.

Here's the 350/2x112neo rig of an esteemed past number issuer, Rumble Talker and Rumbler #58:

What happened to the Tone Pool? Most of it's gone; you have to click on "see version history" and go back several months to find the original. It looks like something happened on May 16 of last year that removed almost everything that had been added to it

Looks OK to me, Fyll. Or someone fixed it? Or maybe something about accessing it from Scandinavia? Have you seen it OK before? Do you have a Rumble?

@Scott Truesdell, do you see any problems?

Here's what I see:

That's odd, on my end it looks like this when I click the link:

When I go to "see version history" I have to click back to May 16, 2024 to get this:

It has everything shown in your screenshot, except no colors.

Hmmm ... ... I don't know. I'm not a very proficient Google Docs user, myself. I'm also sorry you don't see the full list in an editable version to be able to add your own favorite settings!

Perhaps a more knowledgeable Google Docs user will advise their diagnosis?

And do you have a Rumble to join The Club with? And I see in your profile that you have a Rumble 200, so ... ... ...

Hey-yo! @FyllingenOy, you are now member #1819 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and welcome. Please put that number in your TalkBass Signature for safe keeping. Then make yourself at home here and on your Rumble Club Wiki page, the repository of all Rumbling wisdom and knowledge.

How about telling us a bit about yourself, such as your bass experience in general and your Rumble journey in particular? You'll fit right in here since we have all kinds. But we all love to ... ... ...

I searched, but can't seem to find a club for those of us who use and love the Fender Rumble series of amps. Any interest?

I've been playing at home with my Rumble 30 since late January and it seems to me like this amp puts out a good share for being so small! Originally I was looking at the Rumble 15 but went with the 30 because of the extra input jack, more wattage, and I read online reviews which said the 30 would be good enough to play with a band in a small venue even versus the 15 which didn't have as much bang.

Hope to hear form some fellow Rumble fans soon! :D

So this makes me the founding member, #1? I feel this is a big honor for someone so new on the forum!
I’m not much for posting, but I have been using my Fender Rumble 500 for several years both for practice and gigs. I still find new tones and tweaks. I lost one of the vibration pandas on the bottom and am still looking for some new ones.

I'll be watching this forum occasionally now, so play on!

On my phone in the Sheets app, I see:

I’ll try to remember to look in a browser on my computer later, but something is very odd.

See near the bottom of the Rumble Modifications section section for "Replacement Rubber Feet ... ...". It may be a duplicate of something suggested on your other thread.

Our band played a gig last Saturday(2/1/25)at the Hobe Sound, FL, VFW. Decent, responsive crowd. They like us there. I used my 1967 Gibson non-reverse Thunderbird>my 2015 Rumble 200cV3 (which hadn't been used for awhile-the R100 is enuff for most of our appearances). It's the only gig our group has in February (this is "the season" in Florida). Many of the places we used to play [pre-covid] aren't using live entertainment any more.
There's a distinct possibility this was my last gig.:(
Oh well, LSTYD.

Anyone ever hook up a mess 115 to a rumble 500c? I am not asking if it is ideal (matching cabs and all that) I am asking if it works and if it sounds good.

I want to increase my volume, while I build a second rig. Was thinking about picking up a mess 115 and using it with my rumble while I save for a new head to go with the Mesa cab.

I get the same view on my iPad. Try selecting the “Copy of All Settings” tab in the bottom left corner. That will show everything, with colors too.

I hope that’s not the case, GP. I’ve enjoyed reading about your band’s gigs down there in Florida. Here’s hoping there are many more to come.
We seem to have run out of places to play and our older crowd is dwindling in numbers. We're a 60s/70s rock and country group. We don't really fit into a 'meet market' bar scene. Plus I'm having to move to a new-to-me area where I have 0 contacts and there isn't a tremendous call for 79 y/o bass players.
