While on the subject of awesomeness, Summer NAMM [2019] is coming late next week. I hope all dedicated Club members have been lobbying Fender for our collective dream items!
- The Fender Rumble Club 400 head and combo: 250 watts continuous at 8 ohms, 400 at 4 ohms, with the Combo sporting a 15" Eminence speaker.
- The Fender Rumble 212 extension cabinet with two 12" Eminence drivers rated for 500 watts continuous, 1000 watts program, fitting the same 200/200/500/Stage footprint but just a bit taller.

... ... ... I've added a link in the Tone sub-section of the Rumble Talks section, of your Rumble Wiki about Modeling Accuracy versus The Point Of Rumble Modeling. It's really just my opinion, but I think it holds up in light of the recent introduction of the Fender Tone Master Pro modeling "pedal" and it's accompanying Tone Master FR-10 & FR-12 amps.
I hope this addition will be helpful to those of us interested in this topic!
Rumble On!.
And now, 5-½ years after our first wish for a new lightweight 212 cab, comes the
Yeah, it's not just an extension cab, but a powered speaker cab, at 1,000 watts to closely emulate* a 45 watt tube amp (I'm not exactly sure what that means). Yeah, Ok, right, well, technically it's being marketed as a guitar amp and not a bass amp.
It's little brothers, the FR-10 and FR-12, with the same 1,000 watts to emulate 45 tube watts amp, weigh in at just 25.6 and 27.6 lb.s, respectively. So, hopefully, the FR-212 can manage something less than 35 lb.s. *And maybe the 1,000 watt emulation circuitry can, hopefully, maybe, make up for the probable lack of actual bass speakers and bass-tuned cab, maybe, sorta, at least for a decent 45 watts bass output?
