Fender Rumble Club

No problem. That is low dollar solution that is limited to 48/24. If you need higher resolution you will be a small upgrade.
If resolution is a concern, I'd look at a used Scarlett Solo 3rd gen since they're around the same price as that Behringer unit. Can't go wrong either way, I just have a hunch that a lot of people are needlessly offloading their "old" Solo units now that the 4th generation is out. Funny how that works.

I have search that big thread but didn't really find an answer.
I would like to get a Rumble 100 for my living room. It's small enough for the room and powerful enough for home (I have another rig for playing with band).

Q: How would my guitar modeler (Atomic Firebox) will sound in the FX Return on the back of the Rumble 100? I pretty sure I can get better results with a Fender FR12 for guitars but I would like to only have one amp for both.

I use a Two Notes Opus Modeler into the R100c FX Return and it works really well!

I'm not familiar with the Atomic Firebox, but as long as it has plenty of gain, I think it should work fine.

I brought the Rumble and extension cab to my gig yesterday afternoon.

3 hour gig at an RV resort not far from home. Perfect afternoon weather in the mid 80's. Lots of fun!

Very good idea, thank you!

First, I’m NOT a troll!

But I have wondered for some time why some folks don’t remove the large showroom/ marketing stickers from the top or front grille of their Rumbles.

I have seen a number of photos of Rumbles, that have apparently been owned for some time, that still have the large orange and white top sticker in place. Even at gigs!

I could understand it if the amp was out for a “test run”, but some of the photos I’ve seen are of amps just being used normally. As in the gig photo above.

?!?

Yeah, Don, the Search facilities are kinda tricky. 🤔 Did you mean this big Rumble Club thread, or some other?

A: That's a very subjective question that doesn't have an objective answer. It would probably sound like your modeler through a bass tuned cab; a little darker, richer tone than a FRFR cab. 🤗
Have you ever played your 6-string guitar through a bass amp? Many of us here do, from time to time. The bass amp's EQ adds some rich warmth, as does the cab tuning. Although, some Rumblers find the R100 a bit boxy sounding and have to add some acoustic fill or lining, or at least put a sock in a port, to get the bass tone they really like. But, for guitar, you might not want that. 🧐
One warning: the FX Return is unaffected by the Master volume control, so be sure you start with a low level from your modeler! You should be able to try it like that at the store.
Let us know when you get your Rumble. I'd be happy to give you another distinguished Club number!

Nor am I a troll, despite what my wife may occasionally say. 🤨

I resemble that remark, Kenny! In fact I've even had people ask me "what's that" when the store display card was still attached, answering the question before it was even asked! So, like a game show prize presenter, I touch an edge as I read the display card to them. 😉
Some of us are still proud of our new stuff even after it's no longer new!

Yeah, and I guess that big ol' top cover WOULD make a nice drink coaster!

You may also notice I never took off the sticker from my Precision bass. That's just how I roll. I left the stickers on my Rickenbacker basses as well.

It drives people crazy for some reason. Perhaps that's why I do it.

Oh, do you mean like these?

Not that these smaller amps go out much, if at all, but the placards make great dust and cat claw protection for the tops of the amps. They keep the dust from settling into the tolex grain. The Ashdown is about a year old and the Rumble is almost three years old.

For the few times I have taken one or the other out, I remove the placard.

Yep Atomic Firebox has enough gain, working well direct to FOH and when using my PA. I just want to use it in my living room where a PA cab is not appropriate.

Yes this big Rumble Club thread. There was 9 pages of results for "guitar modeller", I went thru all of them ;)

I tried using my Peavey Alpha bass amp FX return with Peavey 1516 cab and I didn't like the result. I saw some posts saying R100 was working well with guitars so that's what leaded my to ask the question. I don't want to use the tone stack, I want to go direct to power amp and speaker to have minimal coloration. I will use the master volume on my modeller no problem, this is the way I go presently with my powered PA cab.

I will bring my bass and my guitar/modeller to a local music store and try it. I just wanted to confirm if some of you had any experience before driving an hour.

BTW I don't really need a bass amp, I'm more looking for a bass/guitar amplification in my living room. Not many solutions appart a powered PA cab, which I already have and find it a bit too big/ugly/powerful.
Thanks

There is the QSC CP8 that would probably work really well and is relatively compact.

Well, if you don't put "guitar modeler" in quotation marks your results include every post with either "guitar" or "modeler" in it! The quote marks make it a specific phrase search. Try again.

Yes, the Opus has Preamp and Power Amp sections.

I use six of the nine guitar preamp models and all three of the bass preamp models, but mostly the Foundry and Foundry Bass preamp models which are based on Fender Preamps.

Do not expect the modeler through most bass combos to sound the same as it does through a decent PA cab.

I have separate Presets for what I would send to FOH and what sounds best sent through my R100c.

I have one Preset that is a compromise Preset if I needed to send it to both FOH & the R100c.

I'm not currently gigging out, so I use my Sennheiser headphones for the FOH Presets.
