Assuming I want to send the signal from XLR to a PA or to record in the studio how high, or what's the minimum the "Master" knob should be? Is 12-o'clock ok?
It's a big port, riz doesn't ring a bell and most 20-25ft sailboats look the same to me. Do you know which marina he is in?

Not a stupid question, and yes the XLR out is all post EQ & FX plus it also has a speaker cabinet emulator circuit that is quite good and sonically accurate. Don't hesitate to send your XLR out to the board. The reason I came to the Rumble Club today (this might be a stupid question): I usually run direct from my Sansamp VT Deluxe to FOH. Since the line out on the Rumble is after the preamp, would it also be after any effects going into the preamp? You know what I mean? Sorry if this is a stupid question.
The ONLY reason I hesitate is because I sometimes turn up during a set. I don't wanna pee off the sound dude. Well I fell into a pit of bullies today. Enough said. While their technical explanation ended up making sense, they chose to turn it into personal attacks and I could not diffuse the situation. And I was only trying to help a newbie , and my advice was sound and correct since he was asking about 2 cabs from the same series, so I mentioned 410 pushes twice the air of 115, and they went out their way to prove me wrong by including drivers with huge xmax excursion and power handling where a 15 did push more air, a total comparison of crab apples to cortlands, and added.insults and made it personal. I would just leave the whole site but I have been a member longer and it is not worth it. I did ignore the offender and all who dogpiled on me with him. Logic wasnt winning, tapping out wasnt working they just kept adding insult quoting and mocking.
Pardon my french, there are some real ******** on here, opinionated ones too. Just the facts of life on all internet forums. This thread seems somewhat safe and friendlier.
Lets see.if this brings repercussions. .. not my intent if so, just venting.
Makes me.rethink offering help to newbs. No good deed goes unpunished I guess
A small boost in volume doesn't matter, as you do have some reasonable leeway. Besides which who cares if you tee off the sound turkey anyway? The G-Wankers are tossing off every which way with their pedals, so you'll barely be noticed if at all.The ONLY reason I hesitate is because I sometimes turn up during a set. The last time a sound dude complimented my tone, it was coming from a Fender BXR DB400. That thing sounded super sweet, but buzzzzzzzzed no matter what I did. Plus, it weighed like 58 tons. Lately, I'm pretty sure that the only thing that's going through FOH are vocals and kick. Of course, it doesn't help that these Rumbles are so freakin' loud on their own.I once had a real sound man tell me, "Dude you sound GREAT! (Rumble 350 + 2x 112) I took you out of the PA mix completely and it (sound & volume) was perfect!" I was just playing my normal stage volume + EQ'd my rig to the room & mix. Perfect.
Hmmmm ... IDKlinnin, any idea on the power of a rumble 200 at 5.3 ohms? Im guessing around 170-180
